Scottacus, I see a new table from you (thanks). and was hoping that you could take a look at oxo again.  If I play 2 player the opposite player gets the bonus (I think its bonus) after the last ball.  I really love this table and have found one which I’m negotiating for right now.   Thanks

Thanks Slydog43 OXO is a really fun table, I hope that you can pick up a real one!  I will be redoing all of my tables to incorporate the new EM features from Boomerang so OXO will be redone sometime this year.  OXO also has the old lighting effects from Haunt so I’ll be asking Bord to generate a newer style blender shadow mask when this table gets re-released.

If you do get the OXO table, I’d love to work with you in tuning in the ball play physics.

High scores are not being saved.  I see that you are using VPReg.stg, but values are not changing in that file.  Everything else seems great!!!!

Yeah, that version that I sent you is a partially done one that was designed to specifically fix the scoring problem.  I may have partially implemented the new text file based high score routine so that may be the problem.  I’ll push OXO to first in the list for games to redo and hopefully get it out in the next month or two.

The new 2.0 version of OXO is now out and you can see the many changes and updates in the Change Log section.

One new feature that I am kind of jazzed about is the ability to change the table difficulty settings from the options menu.  I got the idea from a number of tables that let you set the difficulty in the script which then changes post and rubber locations on a fresh start of the table.

Here is a video of the option setting in use.   It’s fun to see just how much the outlanes get opened or choked off with moving the post above the outlane and the top post of the slings in or out.  You can see the nut of the sling posts move but the post is covered mostly by the plastic.

Thanks for the update.  Really plays and looks sooooo nice.  I think I will have a real OXO coming to my house later this week.  I would have never made the trade but I love this VPX table so much I pulled the trigger.  Thanks I guess :)

Can’t wait to test out how accurate your table is compared to the real one.  Will let you know.
