Awesome.  I’ve always wanted this one. I dabbled on this one and I imagine it will be a resource hog when finished and tax our vp machines to the fullest. Good luck to the team.  It looks great!

        Thank you!

I slightly modded to my taste. Changed out some music (Primus sux!) & took out the barrier by the flips. I would like to find some sound effects from both movies & add them such as Wilder’s flute.  There are some sound bites out there that by just adding into the pup directories gives more flavor.

Thanks again for all the hard work!

I figured out how to get the Lockbar button on my machine  into the script but I am by no means a programmer.  It works for me but is not well play tested. I guess it’s up to the Daphishbowl team if they want to add/allow it but I used the “LockBarKey” variable to success if you are capable programmers yourselves.

I also use 3 screens, in descending order, BG, Topper than LcdDmd.

I took the full screen BG from the Pup & dropped the videos to the topper, the LcdDmd still plays the DMD videos.  It’s great and less hazardous looking up for vids & scores. I did the same to Munsters.

Still have not hit Cherry bomb yet:(

          Thx again GotG team!

Great game & thanks to all involved!  Has anyone tried getting their lock bar button programmed to work?

Thank you Daryl & those who have offered fixes or help.

This game has become very addictive for me with the new update.

I also appreciate the working lockbar/fire button as not many other vpins have it working ‘ right out of the box .’

Trying to program a lockbar/Fire button into my table, at the moment this is gold. Thanks.

I have no way of playing this locally as far as I know. Non-existent.

I tried it once, & that was no good.  Tried it again, only marginally better.

I could not walk away!  This is really a good table.  I am impressed with the quality and feel of it.

Thanks to the crew and most of all to Mr. Danesi.

Here’s my two cents regarding playfield screen.

My first playfield was a very cheap branded TV.  I was always very conscious about getting a new screen with higher resolution and speed.  I finally found a Dell monitor and I must say that it might not have been an all around better move.  Something about the TV was brighter and perhaps because it was slower it seemed to actually give game play a better feel of realistic speed (blur?).  I still use the monitor of course but I am going to make a second machine and use the TV. With the machines side by side I will probably be better able to describe this gameplay phenomena later.

                        Cool table!

How about one of those louvered fan contraptions from out of a car to direct your exit air flow?  I still do not have a proper cooling plan for my table yet.

My table is homemade and designed around a 32″ Dell Monitor and I have a steep angle but it is just about a perfect viewing angle.  Much improved over what would be typical for a table.  I still do not have my lockbar and fire button setup to my taste.  Are you happy with the regular size button?

I have not come across that yet but I may experience this confusion too I guess.  Perhaps in time though this may become the norm.

They do not find the magna-save buttons confusing?  My friends never use them.  That was one of my reasons for trying the lockdown bar button.  I will see what they think if I get it running properly and post what I find out.

                            <span style=”font-size: 12pt; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;”>Thank You!</span>

<span style=”font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;”>I’m not sure where I found virtual pinball besides old Android, it was recent and perhaps Youtube ?   At first it appeared like a cool niche hobby to me but then I saw how robust and wide spread it really is.  I downloaded a few tables out of curiosity and then started looking under the hood as if it were a muscle car engine to see what made it go.  Then one Sunday evening I tore out the back of a dresser and took a couple of shelves and made a quick cabinet.  No buttons, shaker motor or backglass as of yet but I could get a sense of what was coming.   I went through all the sites and grabbed resources and read forums.  My web browser was too old to get access here at first. I needed to get on one of my modern machines and sign-up but I finally made it.  I’m now on my 2nd homemade 3 screen cabinet with magna-save buttons that I have yet to successfully use in-game!  I have fought many a table to get the backglasses up and have conquered all but a few with help from reading the forums here. I have learned how to tweak desktop tables to work in cabs by info from the forums and would like to learn how to get my third screen to play topper video’s next.  So thanks for hanging on through this long intro and accept my appreciation for all the grueling emulation work and helpful posts that have got me this far.</span>

I had a friends wife try my machine and it was the first time he heard her cuss.  Evil powers of Pinball.

PS.  I like Hockey and all collisions sports, never played Baseketball.
