This is great, love the updates you’ve done. It still plays fast an unforgiving, but looks a lot nicer while doing it!

Wow, after a solid weekend of playing (my gf: “you’re still playing that same table?!”) I can say I think this sets a new gold standard for Vpinball recreations – everything is immaculate, incredibly detailed across the board, and not to mention the way it plays seems so close to the real thing – it’s truly stunning!
Thank you so much for your time and effort Knorr, we are blessed to have a rare talent like yours in this community! Hopefully after the thousands(?) of hours dissecting this game over the past year you can still find a way to enjoy it yourself !

Jk – can wait to play this beautiful table later tonight though

3rd screen fixed:Â I didn’t have my dmd dimensions in my ‘screenres’ file (in tables folder), entered those and it works great now. (If anyone else has issues).
Again thanks SO much for this KRAB-ulous table. As an audio guy myself I think all the different music for the modes, the callouts and sound effects are super amazing and really make the table feel like a seriously real pinball table. I’ve been laughing out loud a ton. Thanks again!!

Thanks! Same settings and still not working for me so not sure what the issue is here
Update: I realized that overall the ‘b2s dmd’ setting is not working for me at all. In reading here https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=38374 solution seemed to be to go from B2s build 1.3 to 1.25 , I am attempting this and will let you know if this was my issue.

Question: I am using the 3scr b2s but the text is not showing on my 3rd screen, any way I can fix this?

Really impressively sophisticated gameplay, installed flex dmd and it works great! Thanks for what must have been the hundreds of hours that went into this!

I did, just turned off the VR room.. just looks like the light cast from the 3 yellow flashers is cut off at the top

Gave ‘er a try; it is quite awesome to play this table with the improved flipper dexterity and a nice strong backhand! I see now that the VR implementation must lead to small visual issues for cabinet play so this won’t be a permanent fixture on my cabinet, but still great fun to play! Thanks guys!

I haven’t tried but is it possible to turn off VR in the settings and play on a normal cab? Would like to try the new physics but not a VR guy…

Never realized how much this game suits a film noir theme before, bravo! Really beautiful work. I am really enjoying the new sidewalls, and all the other little details, and as everyone else has said, it plays beautifully too!

February 8, 2021 at 11:34 pm in reply to: Altsound – Who Dunnit (Bally 1995) – Film Noir Remix #223095hey gang – I too found this altsound much quiter than the ROM sounds -If anyone wants here is an ***updated csv file*** I’ve gone ahead and bumped up the volume on most music and selected sound effects by 20-30%. I did not adjust any voices, but this is a jumping off point if you just want an overall volume boost.
Just use this to replace the csv that comes with the original.
Incidentally I could not get the volume of the ‘scorecounting’ sound file to match the ‘endscorecounting’ file (the cymbal and horn hits) – if anyone can figure out how to get those to match up Id be curious to know!
