The day night thing may be messing you up. Smoke posted:
If you don’t like the day/night light effect just edit the ZBRrollingballsoundslibGB.vbs (using Notepad)
and search for —> sub DayNightLightUpdate
and add exit sub
like this
======
sub DayNightLightUpdate
dim tmpInterpol
exit subYou need to login in order to like this post: click here
Right click on the the BAM folder and select properties. Then click on the securities table and make sure all the permissions say allow.

Yours is the first time I have ever seen this problem reported. Normally, I would say that a video problem might be caused by not having vertical sync checked on the preferences screen. I suggest checking it just to be sure. Otherwise, it may be some sort of issue with your front end programs. If that is the case, TerryRed might be able to help because I don’t have a pincab.

I think you either don’t have BAM installed or you don’t have permissions set up that allow access to the BAM folder.

I had difficulty finding it because it was posted with the visual pinball tables but I found and downloaded it. I can’t tell much at this point because the physics aren’t so hot. Are you using BAM with an XML file for the physics? The XML wasn’t posted if you are.

You need to close the Future Pinball editor whenever you play a table. I think most front end programs will do this automatically. If you are not using a front end, then you might try a method I describe in a tutorial posted here:

June 27, 2020 at 2:27 am in reply to: Star Trek – No matter what I press , launch etc- I cannot select a mission??? #188483I don’t have a pinball cabinet, but you press the “Special 1” key to start a mission. There is a “Mouse/Joypad Controllers” option for it on the “Preferences” > “Game Keys and Controls” menu. I don’t know how you would set it up on your pincab.

I saw another post like this somewhere… and I’ll be damned if I can find it now…but I thought they had their solution on it.
I think this is the posting you were thinking about (possibly page 2):

Unfortunately, the OP never posted if he was able to fix the problem yet.
When you say Display #, I assume you mean the “Monitor:” field on the FP “Video / Rendering Options” located just above “Resolution:”. …So DISPLAY2 could actually be the playfield monitor?

There is a way you can set up FP tables to play on double click bypassing the editor. There is also a right click context menu. See my guide here:

I have thought about creating a similar set up for myself. I thought about using some sort of game controller with 2 monitors set up like yours that are connected to my existing PC. I don’t have the electrical knowledge to create a controller box like you have but it is far superior to what I was thinking. I would buy something like yours if I could. Do you use your existing desktop PC or do you have a separate one?

I am pretty sure Ravarcade could hack the code if Chris would just give his permission. So Chris wouldn’t even need the source code.

There is a new BAM update that I think will help solve your problem with the watermark. Click on this link:
http://www.gopinball.com/forum/viewtopic.php?nomobile=f=55&t=6587&p=96843#p96843
See number 1.
“1. In addons menu you can select “hide FP logo”. This will hide logo in 5 seconds after game starts.”
So you can use the original FP EXE file and hide the watermark with the new option.

If you don’t get an answer, you should ask TerryRed. I am betting there probably a way using pinup.
