New guy… Brilliant. This belongs in a museum.
Thanks =) … But I would really rather play pinball with it.

Err, umm, well… I guess I get the bozo award for the day. I forgot ultradmd uses those keys.
Amazingly my sound is now working!
As for the server error message I have determined that it is definitely related to the directb2s backglass in use since the error goes away when I rename the backglass…
update – actually no, it doesn’t go away. I just managed to get it to work one time.
The problem now seems only to happen with Diablo but it is pretty consistent.

I’ll say it, a work of art! Congrats, you are one talented pinhead! (said with compliment, not insult! LOL)
Hehe, thanks.

I can’t seem to find my higher resolution camera lately so I shot these with my ipad. You can see the brass inlay work I did on the lockdown bar in the last photo. That took several days and a lot of freaking work. I still need to re-stain the lockdown bar darker. I also replaced my dmd monitor with a PIN2DMD with which I am extremely happy =)

Is there any way to get the dmd to display on a real dmd? I have a pin2dmd installed and I have gotten other tables with similar layouts to display the score etc on the dmd but I can’t seem to get this one to work. The 3 screen backglass does the same thing…
Thanks =)

My partner gave me this Tesla brass challenge coin as a gift. I inlaid it into the left side of the lockdown bar on my cabinet. I think Nemo will like this a lot since it has the pidgeons on it too

How much ram do you have?
Try a smaller resolution for your back glass and see what happens.
Make sure you have nothing else running
If you are running this version of the back glass you can make a copy of your ScreenRes.txt file and change the extension to res and call it the same name as the game
B2S Backglass Server 1.3.0.3

16GB system ram and 12GB video ram. Thanks for the other info, I’ll see what it yields for me.
Thanks for the help with this. I bumped the b2s resolution down one notch using the .res file as you suggested which enabled me to get the backglass to open with the table. I then set the backglass to run with the .exe and I am now able to play the table with the backglass at nearly full screen size. =)

Minded the same thing when I was running a 32 bit operating system. Upgrade to 64 and all my problems went away. It was the same with G.I. Joe and masters of the Universe.
I am running windows 10 64 bit.

I can’t seem to get this to run without getting an out of memory error on the b2s file. Any suggestions? I have tried the 4gb patch but it didn’t help. If I rename the b2s file and launch the table it runs just fine with no backglass.
Thanks,
Gwen

If you load the table in VPX and click the backglass button and then the options button you can change the XY rotation (as well as scaling and position) of the table to suit you. Just make sure you save it after testing.

I decided I wanted to use a real tilt bob in my cabinet for completely realistic tilt behavior. After looking at the ones for sale online I decided I could save myself $20 and the wait by just building my own from stuff I have lying around. I cut some scrap pieces of wood, brass rod, and aluminum, and cut down an old plumb bob which I drilled and tapped for a thumbscrew, and I made this (It’s nothing fancy but it should work just as well as any tilt bob I can buy. And it’s adjustable =)) :
Update: I just finished installing this in my cabinet and adjusting it. It works perfectly. Pretty cool I think =)

Yeah I still have it. Right now it is in storage in California after I moved up to Washington. I need to go down and get it and bring it up here.
