Yeah, I didn’t install my PC inside my cabinet either because it’s my gaming rig and I use it for a lot of other stuff and can’t afford another high end machine now. Hmm, about using multiple user logins – I’m not sure if that will do what you want or not, you could give it a try. I am currently just using one account and I select a different primary monitor when I want to do something different.
Everybody is new to something at some point… so no, you don’t sound dumb at all. You’ll find lots of experienced pincab people here who will be happy to help you =)

It’s a known issue, but seems only to happen extremely rarely and seemingly random. Roth tried to nail it down, but it still happens some times when you play many games consecutive.
OK thanks. Oddly though it happened to me on my first game on the first ball.

Thanks for the great update Skitso!
I am seeing one issue with it: When hitting the gumball machine and starting Powerball mode, the ball in play is not the powerball but a normal steel ball. I can see the powerball in the gumball machine during this time too. This issue was happening with previous versions of the table as well.

And to top it all off – because I am such a complete Tesla nerd I spent way too much time scratch-building a nearly 3-foot tall model of the Wardenclyffe Tower out of balsa wood. Yep – definitely a nerd…

Sure, if you open popper settings, go to global settings/startup- there are two windows you can put commands in for starting and closing pinup popper. I put in the following:
Startup window:
D:\
cd \DirectOutput
Startup.batClose window:
D:\
cd \DirectOutput
Exit.batYou can use the same batch files you used for PinballX . And if you need to make changes you just update your batch files. You can of course also just put the commands from your batch files directly into the script windows in pinup popper setup if you prefer.
Note: of course you will need to change the paths and file names above to match your setup.

Sure, you can use it both ways, I do that all the time. But yes, you will probably have to switch your primary display for applications that don’t allow you to select a display in their preference settings.

I agree with Thalamus, FlexDMD has solved all the problems I was having with Diablo and Champions League. And it runs faster and smoother.

It’s a Mimo 7″ usb monitor model UM-710S. And I’m running full motion video on it. The resolution is 800X480 and it works great. The screws are brass. And I prefer using Phillips head since they don’t strip as easily.

I decided to add a separate topper display to the cabinet a few days ago. I dug out an old Mimo USB monitor I had, decased it, and built a frame for it. All in all it took about 2 hours work and cost me nothing.

No not that I know of. I made it to use with the Pinball FX3 Aliens table.
