Finally found a table that broke my PC lol
Alienware Alpha Intel Core i7-4785T 2.2GHz Processor, 8 GB DDR3L SDRAM, Windows 10a 256 ssd, custom overclocked GeForce GTX 860M + this table = lag city LOL
My setup is weaker than yours (Phenom II X4 965, 4 GB RAM, 240 GB SSD, GTX 750ti, Windows 7) and I have no lag or performance problem with this table, not even with the uncompressed version.

the table loads and attract mode displays, as soon as i press the start button – i get this script error.
“Line 1, object not a collection” – am using latest VP10.6 Beta and have scripts all in right places etc
I’ve also tried an earlier version (rev 3592) on advice from others about a conflict between later than 3592 versions and the latest SAM Pinmame., but I get the same error.
any help much appreciated, thank you.
There must be a problem with your install. This error comes up regularly on a range of tables, not sure what the solution is, it’s not specific to this table (see attached searching on this site, you may need to hunt through the support threads of other tables for a solution or try reinstalling. Make sure you use 7-zip to unzip the vpx beta and the table files so files are unblocked).
Thanks for the help G5K, I’ll try those things you suggested. I know that i have never used 7zip i only ever have used winrar for more than 20 years now, old habits die hard ! If that doesn’t help i’ll try reinstalling as you suggested.
My post is the second link in that screenshot, see if this helps you:

March 12, 2019 at 3:36 pm in reply to: The Addams Family (Bally 1992) V2 – G5K, Sliderpoint, 3rdAxis #117689@htamas : are you running the required 10.6beta ?
Yes, I do.
This problem also happens on some other tables, one example is the new Firepower, but there is at least one more. Hundreds of other tables are running fine though, and I just started to get this error with a few tables. Could be something VB-related, not sure…
Scripts updated and only 1 copy of them only in the scripts folder?
Thanks for the idea… as it turns out, the problem was indeed caused by the scripts somehow. I extracted the most recent scripts into the script folder, but it still didn’t work. Then I decided to completely delete and recreate the script folder and again extracted the scripts into it, then the problematic tables started working.

March 11, 2019 at 12:19 am in reply to: The Addams Family (Bally 1992) V2 – G5K, Sliderpoint, 3rdAxis #117460Sorry if this was already discussed, but is there a solution to getting “Line 1: Object not a collection” script error upon starting a game? All versions (compressed, uncompressed, 2.0 or 2.1) do the same on my rig.
Table looks awesome in attract mode btw – wish I could play it

This is clearly the best Iron Man recreation by far, thanks to all involved.

Heh, thanks… looks like TNT was wrong then, setting them up in a symmetric fashion – and so was the place where I played this table (although it was many years ago so I may not remember right either )

Great job on this table, thanks a lot. It plays really well.
One thing I noticed that the flippers’ angle on the lower playfield doesn’t seem to be right. I don’t think the real machine has them asymmetric… that’s not how I remember the real thing to be and based on a TNT Amusements video, they should be angled differently:

If I remember correctly, there is one in the Pacific Pinball Museum in Alameda, CA. That’s where I played it.

A couple of things I noticed:
At the end of the Game Time Bonus, the flippers are not disabled (although the scoring stops like it should). In fact, on the original machine all activities (like slingshots, pop bumpers and the flippers of course) were dead after the time expired (maybe even the lights turned off, I’m not sure), but I suppose that’s more difficult to implement. I looked quickly into the script and noticed there are provisions to stop the flippers, but didn’t spend enough time to find how to fix this.
Also, it seemed to me that the drop targets are too hard to knock down. Sometimes it seemed not even a direct hit dropped some of them.
Good work on the table. It’d be great to have updated graphics since the available resources are rather scarce and the graphics are a bit blurry due to this.
Thanks again for tackling this.

Awesome, thanks for this. Can’t wait to try it.
I used to play the real thing 35 or so years ago a lot, so I wonder how will I fare in the virtual version of the table

Great table, thanks. The left flipper sound wasn’t working but it was simple enough to fix :)
(Line 721, change 1 to DOFFlippers like in the other flipper sound routine)

One more “thank you” for all your contributions, past and hopefully future. The virtual pinball community wouldn’t be where it is now without your work.

I only have a C drive in my cabinet.

Unfortunately not… following the above error and clicking OK, I get two more error popups:
Can’t start Gamecc_13
Object required
When I click OK on this one, the next one is:
Line 221: Object required: ‘Controller’
Then the script window is displayed and I’m back to the editor. The game doesn’t start of course.

… I tried running the table in VPX 10.1 and I get the error ActiveX Component can’t Create object “VProc.controller” when I start the Table Rich
I get the same error message. The P-ROC installation went without any issue. I’m on Windows 7 and would like to make this work with dB2S.
Can someone tell me how to fix the problem? Thanks.

I noticed that when managing the plunger skill shot with the powerball, most of the time it doesn’t register. I remember once it recognized the RED award but never the YELLOW, for instance. Not sure if that’s normal… this never happens with the regular steel balls.

I had in in the right location and also named correctly, but for me it slowed down table loading a lot. I could hear the sounds from the loaded table already and the animation was still playing, 3 loops each time. So I returned to the standard ‘LOADING’ image…
Thanks for this, it looks nice otherwise.

Simply awesome work, thank you so much.
This update even fixed the issue in the 10.1 beta that the rocket launch always hit a post instead of firing into the town square. Now it works just like in 10.0 – plus there are a few other welcome fixes here and there. Plays great!
