Do you mind pointing to the download link for the Halloween wheel? I can not seem to find it. I see the display of two in the first page of the support topic but I am having trouble finding the actual file here or via Google. PinEvent and future pinball installed last night. Works great. Amazing.

      Thanks,

      Lane

Look for the Pinevent wheels on this site.

@lunatechfringe Did you ever figure your table crashing issue out? I have the exact same issue you have but on my Jaws Ultimate PinEvent table.

I was never able to get PuP Streams working, but I can play all of the PinEvent tables without problems.

Out of curiosity, what video card are you using?

Per changing the keys. For my console I’m using this, the Start button to reset the game, and the right flipper to load balls. Make these changes to the script do that

31 If keycode = StartGameKey Then

              45 if (keycode=RightFlipperKey) then

67 If keycode = StartGameKey Then

BTW, love these old tables! Thanks for posting

I was able to use the suggestions you provided, which fixed the problem.  Thanks!

This update kicks ass, @TerryRed!  It makes me want to go buy new VR equipment.

@lunatechfringe, is there a difference in the rom from the one on IPDB? I am not sure which one i have but i think there was only 1 person that dumped the rom.

I see that the bin files have different naming. VPU one should work

Also i believe you should get a knocker hit after you complete the rack. Can anyone see if and why its not working. I tested the solenoids and i believe its working fine, and other Stern era games all use the same solenoid number.

Unless I’m looking at the wrong ROM, the one I see here is completely different than what I used.

Thanks for this unique table.  Is there an easy way to change the button assignment to release the balls to something other than Coin 3 (such as “Add Credit”)?

anyone have issues with the ball not coming out?..game coins up and starts but ball never comes out.

I had an older cue.zip ROM in my roms folder.  The one mentioned on page one from vpuniverse.com by @outhere should get you fixed up.

Thanks for the table!  One observation…it looks like the logos need to be flipped on the upper-half of the playfield.

This table is super fun!  Being a huge Floyd fan, care was taken in terms of how events are timed with the music, so it flows really well.  I love the detail in it, and it is very colorful.

I have a few problems with it that I’m curious about:

                            1)  It gets to ball 5, and the game does not proceed.
                            2)  It’s impossible to hit the third (center) hole of the wall on the upper-left corner of the playfield.

Are there any fixes for this?

Your help is appreciated.  Great table!

Hey @lunatechfringe, thanks for the videos!

Since I’m using PinballX I had to rotate the playfield videos. If you don’t mind I can share the rotated videos:

Absolutely!  I’m glad you found them useful.

I figured it out, and it was an idiotic newb thing I did.  When I originally setup PinUP Popper, I had a massive oversight on screen rotations for anything using the playfield.  The orientation was wrong, so once I configured it as 270 degrees and copied my config settings to a PinUpPlayer.ini file in each PinEvent PUP Pack directory, the tables loaded properly.  So happy!  Now I get to see these tables as they were intended.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Terry!

UPDATE:  I spoke too soon.  I got it to work once, then it went back to crashing with the PUP plugin loaded.  I saw this while playing the table in debug mode.

To add to my previous post, I was able to fully resolve this.  After double-checking my DOFLinx configuration with the video guide, I reconfigured the PUP Pack for my setup (two screens). It was so easy that I can kick myself for the hours I wasted trying to figure this out.

                                  The fix…
I don’t have a Topper, so I configured the Topper to ForceBack (instead of off…THAT’S IMPORTANT, as it wasn’t working properly when it was off). I then configured Other1/BackGlass2 to ForceOn. I left ForceBack as is for Backglass.  The PUP Pack is finally working for me.  I hope this helps any two-screen cabinet users out there scratching their heads trying figure this out.

OK, I figured out my problem.  Even though I wasn’t intending on configuring DOF / DOFLinx, it appears to be REQUIRED if you want to use the backglass package or PUP Packs to work with this.  The documentation led me to believe it wasn’t required if you weren’t using force feedback, etc.  It’s pretty easy to configure, too.  All I had to do is modify the DOFLinx.ini to point to the folder I wanted to use.  I’m opting for PUP Packs in my case, since I’ve taken all of the animated backglass I’ve found while setting up PinUP Popper and created mini (micro?) PUP Packs with ONLY the backglass video (without sound) and the PUPDMD.

I have no problems getting the PUPDMD to work, but PUP Packs, even simple ones, don’t load.  I only see the DMD and desktop on my backglass monitor.

I’d have to reverse my playfield monitor installation in the cab.  I’ll take that on later this week if some other things I’m going to try don’t resolve it.
