Awesome Goldchicco!!! I own the table, and note that the ball shouldn’t be able to plunge to the left so far. An early shot should hit around the MON targets, and a late shot should hit around the EY targets. I fiddled with the walls in the diverter and got it working close to the original. I can share that if interested.

Thanks mjmj! Let’s see how this goes…

OK… this is still a big mess, but if someone can confirm that the table can be made to play properly with the image in the table now, then I can proceed with coloring the playfield and plastics in. Can someone who knows VPX and would be willing to contribute confirm this? Image and table attached.

Thanks mjmj. I think I’m close. Can you provide a copy of the file without the purple lines for the playfield protector? Just delete that whole layer.

I could use some help. I imported your image, mjmj, and I positioned it how I thought it should go on the playfield image (based on other Bally PF images and specifically JP’s Black Pyramid). When imported into VP, the positioning of things is way off. This may be as expected, but I’m not sure what is correct. Can someone look at these files and propose a properly aligned PF image using only the line drawings? Specifically, it looks like more padding is needed at the bottom of the playfield image, but I’m not sure what the exact standard should be.

It will be interesting to see if anyone can find good resources for this. This is a very good candidate for a vector redraw… it’s like 99% straight lines and solid colors. I’m tempted to start making a “good guess” for this, but things would certainly be inaccurate, so I’ll wait to see what the community finds.

October 12, 2020 at 5:48 pm in reply to: rehearsals for departure (or how i learned to stop worrying and plot a vpx exit) #204449This reminds me of the time when VPX was the new thing, VP9 was the current thing, and JP Salas annouced his retirement. As we all know, JP retired from VP9, but has delivered amazing contributions to VPX. I hope the same is true for the amazingly talented bench looking at VPE vs. VPX.

Eurostile and Microgramma are the most likely font candidates. It was available as dry transfer art at the time.
This is incredibly valuable information! Are there other fonts that were used as dry transfer art that I should know about? Thank you, Loafer!

Tee’d off also has a wheel, and that was very well implemented in VP.

For some reason, I can’t plunge the ball. It makes it about half way up the shooter lane then bounces back. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
UPDATE: The ball was bouncing off RubberBand1. I deleted it, and the ball makes it through the shooter lane now. Great table!!!

I’m wondering if someone can provide a good, reusable VR room. I’m not sure how the whole VR process works, but it would be awesome to have the full LM library in VR!

The ball will not plunge for me. I can push the plunger button, but it only moves the ball a tiny bit. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Sounds awesome. I’m new to VR so haven’t figured out how to take screenshots yet, but I’ll see if I can figure that out so that I can be more descriptive. Again, great work and super fun!
