Just want to double check, when I mess with POV settings, inclination is the only one that will effect game-play right?

I can leave that setting and tweak every other one to my hearts content?

The only setting that will hose the table is z-scale. Dont touch that one. All of the others can be tweaked to your liking.

          Thankss JBG,

Really glad to see this one get some love. I think I remember playing years ago and I have always liked this PF layout.

One thing I have always noticed is that the the scaling of the original PF image does not appear to be the correct length/width. You can tell this by looking at the inserts. I will bet someone could photoshop the current PF image and overlay it on El Dorado or Target Alpha (assuming they are to scale), align it with the  inserts and other physical locators and provide you a true to scale image to work with.  This will likely make the gameplay more accurate as well.

Thanks again for giving it some attention. :)

Yeah I will if nobody chimes in. Be nicer to have someone from this community. Some of the Pinsiders get their asses chapped if they find out I am hunting for resources for “fake-ass virtual shit”. ;) Yep that happened.

Just played BBBB on my cab. Silky smooth with 200+ FPS without “brute-force 4x SSAA”. Once I turn brute-force on,  I get enough micro-stutters that it ruins the gameplay. I would guess my tables are too resource-hungry to use with brute-force. No issues with FXAA.

Oh, and I updated my severely dated system specs in my sig.

Hey guys. Sorry for the long delay. Cant really put my finger on what might be causing stutter with reflections. However this seems to be a common problem across my tables. I can only “assume” its due to the high quality visual details that are in all of my tables. Funhouse has a similar issue too.

I will spend some time troubleshooting it to try to isolate what is causing the issue. But I would gladly welcome any other troubleshooting assistance, and feedback you guys may have to offer. One thing I want to try is to comment out all of the PF inserts/lighting scripting and see what happens there, and then the very large flashers that I use for the flasher effects. If I had to take a wild ass guess, I would look there first.

Wonder if the orange appearance is due to to the predominantly white PF and plastics. I should also admit that I do have color blindness. But interested to hear some feedback on this.

Neat stuff there Bord with the RGB values for light. So I need to fix a few things on that latest BBBB rev. There are some sound related issues to fix, and there are a couple bugs to fix too.

Just for giggles I copied Bords RGB settings for the GI from Jackbot, and dropped them into BBBB to see how it compared to what I have. Those setting are shown on the left, and my original ones are on the right. Those new lights look more orange to me. What do you guys think?

                          I used:

                          ………..Full

                          255      255

                          157      214

Wanted to let you know about a rubbers velocity hack I added to the table. I added this hack that decreases the rubbers rebound velocities at random times, to add some randomness like what you find on a real pin . It  can be turned off in the options located in the script. BTW it is currently on by default.

It definitely does its job, but not excessively…IMO. Please let me what you guys think about it. Again it can be turned off in the options located in the script.

Yes I know…I know! Its been a LONG DAMN time coming. But I am back to work on F14. The table is 75% and looking and playing really good. Mostly just fine tuning left to do on various things. Teaser pic attached.

seem very nice but the animation is very jerky this version 2.3.

Table is resource hungry. Dial your quality settings back, disable PF reflections to start. Do you have a GPU up to the task?

Big update for BBBB in the next few days.

                                        • 4K Playfield image, prim playfield and prim inserts
                                        • 200 units high playfield has been converted to 0 units high. This provides more accurate scaling and PF reflections.
                                        • New Physics and more accurate lighting
                                        • Tons of new collision sounds
                                        • Too much other stuff to list

Man really stoked to see this. And DAMN does it look and place nice too. I played a real one of these last year and found it very fun. SO glad we have it in VP. Thanks Bord.

One request. Would you please send me an image of the instruction card.  The one I saw in your images is not usable for what I want to do with it.

                                          Keep it up.

Just downloaded 2.1, and as soon as the table is started, one of my DOF solenoids is activating. It will stay activated as long as the table is running, but it will burn up like this. Anyone else seeing this? The solenoid activating is the left sling, or the left front one.

Game looks great, but cant play it till this minor bug is fixed. :(
