What an awesome table, thank you so much. Love the way it looks and plays.

Interestingly, I have a problem when trying to adjust the Z index. What I see in camera edit mode is not what is displayed when starting to play the table. In edit mode it looks good, but in play mode there is this black bar at the top, covering the line of bulbs.

Did anyone find a way to change the POV and not have such a problem? I don’t remember having this issue with any other table before.

Great work, thanks – although the bottom part is not quite true to the original.

I had to change rol in the script to 0 as the DMD was showing rotated 90 degrees for me

            Same here.

              Thanks for the table.
I had a little momentary stutter at both of the gates at the top of the playfield when the ball went through them. I set Primitive006 and Primitive007 to non-collidable and the problem was fixed.

                Thanks for the latest update.
1.0c mod also eliminated the stutter issue I had with the earlier versions. Now I can keep playfield reflections enabled and the stutter is gone. Earlier I had to turn that off to get rid of the stutter.
I would love to know what the exact fix is since it could perhaps be applied to some other tables that show the same issue with reflections on.

Very nice, thank you. It appears it also fixed the stutter problem I had with the earlier version.
The one thing I’m not 100% sure about is flipper physics (it seemed I saw some strange bounces or trajectory on occasion), but it plays well as-is.

                    Simply amazing.

After one game, I immediately deleted the version I had before.

                    Thank you.

                      Thanks for this new B2S!

I have the last Jps terminator 3 table, but I don’t see the animation on the backglass. Only flashing lights works.

                      Any Ideas?

The animation works if the RPG is in use.

Very nice, great looking backglass. Thank you.

It’s a pity though that in 3-screen mode, the faces below the score are missing, unlike your screen shot shows in 2-screen mode. Or is it just my setup?

However, I could do without those flashing small lights around the wheel. It doesn’t look like they are part of the real table, based on YouTube videos.

at the 4th ball bumpers (and so slingshots) are still active

I guess what he means is that once the ‘game time bonus’ is over and the flashing stopped, the pop bumpers (and the slingshots) are still active.
This is similar to what is happening on a lot of virtual tables, where after tilting those are still active, while on a real table, they are usually deactivated.

                              I used 0.75 elasticity and 0.5 damping

When the fourth ball is up, the bumpers are still active.

                                The slingshots too.

Thanks for this VPX conversion, very well done. I remember playing the real table quite a lot, and it was a pretty frustrating one :-)

I slightly increased the elasticity and decreased the damping of the two gates at the top, so the ball bounces a little more off them. Feels a little better this way.

Once again, great job! Brings back some memories.

Austin Powers was my first movie, where I left the cinema after half an hour.

Mine was Ace Ventura (I think the second one), when Jim Carrey climbed out of the ass of that fake rhino in the zoo, in front of the group of kids:
                                  aceventura
Compared to that movie, Austin Powers was a helluva lot more entertaining. Still not that great though.
As it turns out, the table is better

Thank you, this easily beats ANY earlier versions, it’s not even close.
Looks and plays great. Awesome job!
I was not a big fan of this table earlier, but this release makes me like it much more.

So I am also seeing some stuttering. Recommended to disable playfield reflections?

That should fix it (it did for me), but there will be some unwanted side effects like the bottom of the bumpers will turn to black.

Maybe open the tables and have a look?? Cant believe you dont see the difference…

I can see it now… when I originally asked the question, the two almost looked identical. Earlier, the MOD seemed to differ only in the flipper decals, looking at the topic screen shots (which are still the same). Now the mod is quite different in several ways.

Thanks for bringing this to VPX.

I agree that the middle hole at the top is difficult to hit, and this was much easier on the VP9 version – however I never played the real table so don’t know which one is more realistic. Actually I like the difficult shot, makes it more challenging

I wonder what causes a table like this to stutter, when the playfield reflections are on. I only have the problem on this and the latest BBBB, and while on the latter I can seemingly turn that effect off without much problem, on this one the bottom of the bumpers turns to black and I don’t like that. Would love to figure out how to fix the stutter, because a lot of seemingly ‘heavier’ tables run flawlessly on my rig, so I have no idea why this one doesn’t. What can be such part in this one, causing it?

Also, some of the flipper shots are off I think… will have to try tweaking that a little. If anyone has pointers to get more realistic shots (especially from the flipper tips), please chime in. The rest of the physics seem fine though.

All in all, a very nice release!
