      error https://prnt.sc/w1he7l

      GameName = cGameName

      On VPinMAME main folder create a txt file name VPMalias.txt and add Descendants,rollstob save and enjoy game :)

      did you fill out your Alias file in vpmame the way it mention in the text file??

      Descendants,rollstob

      you can fill out your Alias txt file in vpinmame.

      Descendants,rollstob

      or just change the rom name from descendants to rollstob.. read the text file and watch the john memo video if still having issues.

      Thanks guys. To the best of my ability I tried all that plus watched the video a few times, still no luck. No doubt I am doing something wrong I just don’t know what. Btw. If I change line 22 to…

      22 Const cGameName = “rollstob”

      I get this error instead…

      Untitled

      Same error/issue for me as well. have tried everything…nadda.

      Probably you need newer version of Sambuild that uses the VPMAlias.txt file in the VPinMAME folder. I think it is here:

        Beautiful job once again.

        Had a quick question about the 3rd screen b2s DMD on this one. My scoring digits look very fat and blocky..pic attached.

        Noticed this on a couple of Williams tables. Anyone know if this is normal or am I missing a setting?

        Thanks

        You can try to turn off the Dream 7 leds in the settings, or make them less fat.

          @Danomyte

          Just to be complete: in the script of this table (Willy’s Wonderland), find the cgamename as you did before and make sure it says:

          cGameName = “dvlsdre1″

          Delete the extra line you created as that is not good.

          Now go into the folder c:\Visual Pinball\Vpinmame and search for the file VPMAlias.txt. Edit that file and add the line:

          dvlsdre1,dvlsdre

          If you want you can delete the file you created (c:\Visual Pinball\Vpinmame\Roms\dvlsdre1.zip) as it is not needed.

          That should do it. Hope that helps. If it does not load, maybe download another ROM file (that is the dvlsdre.zip file)

          Great table by the way, cannot believe all of the skills and time this must take !!  Thanks to the creators for all your efforts !

            Regarding the problem with the P-roc, I figured out (that is why I am posting) that the controller.vbs is not ok. If I take the controller.vbs from the installer of 10.6, Cactus Canyon Continued works, but with the version in this download I get an error saying:

            Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment: ‘LoadVBSFiles’

            Just putting back the older controller.vbs into the scripts folder solves the problem.

              @outhere thank you for your reaction, but as stated I tried everything that is in this topic already. Also changing the sounds in the soundmanager. The strange thing is: if I load another table (i tried with AFM ), that redirecting works perfectly. Toggle to table and press test, the exciters go wild, toggle back to backglass, press test and the speakers in the speaker panel only produce sound.

              Only in this table it does not. Whatever  I change, the sound always comes from the table. Also after restarting VPX or whole system.

                First of all, what a great table this is. So much attention to detail. Thanks for your hard work,

                I have only one problem with this table, I just cannot get the music to go through the backglass. The sound is always coming through the table speakers and with the level of bass in the music, it sounds very bad. The table speakers are 6 exciters so the whole machine trembles when playing this table.

                Tried everything in this support topic, such as updating drivers, trying things with APO, changing sounds in Sound manager, changing to Primary soundcard in VPX etc.

                This is literally the only table this happens with (out of 262 Tables installed), so I was wondering if there could be something set in the script that influences where the sound is going to, or maybe the WAV file needs adjusting. I looked at it in Audacity and it looks strange but I do not have the know how to change it,

                Hope someone has a tip, as this is a great table and it would really be a shame not to have it in the collection.

                  Just wanted to express my thanks for one of my favorite tables. See picture how much I like it :good:

                    Just played the table for 15 minutes and I must say these physics for me feel very good. Also the aiming works much better now than previously. This could be a gamechanger if these changes can work as good on other tables also. Just wow. Many thanks, I know this must have taken quite some work to get this so real.

                      Ok, just solved the problem. I just installed vpinmame 2.8b instead of the 2.9 PIN2DMD version that is needed for the ST LE table. The 2.8b does not have the newer games so that will not work.

                      After installing 2.8b the table started, loaded three balls and was ok.

                      Before that only one ball would lock under the playfield and from the second ball forward all would be kicked out of the subway and drained. Just double checked and when I put back 2.9 the table is broken again.

                      Hope that helps. I hope there will be an update to either the table or vpinmame.dll so both will work, but either way I am so very happy with this table !

                        @Drybonz: thanks for replying. Yes I did all steps numerous times (two hours at it now). I just was able to start a game by pressing B and then Enter (B and N does not work for me) and it played, but for instance when I choose Launch Probe, the ball wil not be delivered to the cannon as it should.

                        Very strange but nonetheless very excited for this table. I will figure it out !

                          I have the same problem as someone before, the table starts and keeps giving one ball, then it kicks out in the left wireform and drains. Most of the times (after restart) the first ball will not be drained.

                          If I reset with F3 the balls stop coming but then I have the problem that it wants to locate balls. After NVRAM delete the same starts all over.

                          Sometimes when I press start twice (when pinballs are locating) the game wil start but the ball always goes inside the subway and stays there. No way to play.

                          I also tried the supplied nvram file, exactly the same thing happens.

                          Some more info: VPX 10.2.1 with all updates and workarounds to run Startrek LE which runs fine and also DOF enabled. Hope someone has a good idea, been trying now for some time ;-)

                          Table looks great btw, always amazed of what you guys can do.

                            Full screen exclusive, sorry if that was not clear from my earlier post.

                            I wrote there that it works when windowed, sorry for the confusion.

                                Question: I just downloaded this table and tried to run it, but it does not seem to work in the Full Screen mode of the new VPX 10.2 Build 2820. Is there anything that can be done about this ? I tried setting all the mods to 0 but still VPX crashes in Full screen. Windowed it works great by the way.

                                  Thank, doing my best.

                                  Hobbit is VERY good. I like the game because it is very deep and the screens offer much information. Little bit too heavy on the multiballs right now but I am counting on the programmers to fix that.
