April 23, 2017 at 12:34 pm #52827Thanks for this nice table, but I can’t play it
I’ve tried using VPinMAME and VPX versions from this site (and added vbs files to the script)
I can start a play, hear the music, launch the ball, but when it passes near Paul Stanley (between the bumpers)
I always get the same error message:
Line 1
Value can’t be null
Parameter name: image
Any idea ?

Sounds like you dont have the 100+ images in the tables/kiss.UltraDMD directory.
It is not rom based so it doesnt rely on vpinmame at all …

April 23, 2017 at 5:02 pm #52839I downloaded the KISS package again, including the kiss.UltraDMD directory
There are 125 images and 1 .pdn file inside of it
Perhaps you’re talking me about another one (100+)
If yes, where can I find it ?

April 23, 2017 at 5:41 pm #52843Yes, I have KISSCode, KISSCore, KISSDMDV2, KISSMusic and KISSRules (the one from version 1.1)
But I forgot to tell you I was playing the table in Desktop mode
Could it be something in the Script ?

April 24, 2017 at 3:24 am #52853Some other people have the same problem with this table (seen on Google)
It seems that it’s because they use Windows 10 like me (DirectX version ?)
I found a solution, I installed the last UltraDMD version (1.4) and I use it for other tables
For the table “Kiss”, I click on UltraDMD.exe (1.3) before launching the table and it works

April 24, 2017 at 10:33 am #52858I’m on win 10 using 1.4 and it works fine. Â The dmd in 1.4 isnt as colorful as the 1.3 version, its more dialed down but still looks good.

April 24, 2017 at 3:53 pm #52867It’s very strange, I’ve no problems with Diablo Pinball and AMH
In fact, it’s an “image” problem when I launch the first ball and when it hits the bumpers

April 24, 2017 at 7:12 pm #52876Nevermind…. Â I still am running one of the last beta versions of Kiss, as moving to 1.0 or 1.1 causes the same Line 1 problem after launching the ball and hitting a pop bumper. Â I am running Hyperpin under XP and I think it might have something to do with that. Â When I start it on my Win 7 partition it plays the latest version without issue. Â I actually changed the table image with the latest clearer version (as the beta had smudging on the right side) and still have songs stopping after ball loss, but at least I have a working game. Â Could I suggest you try on another OS and download all the files again?

April 25, 2017 at 12:41 pm #52890Hi, I found the answer on another site (it’s from chucky87 – minuzzu and arngrim told him)
For all those who get the message “error Line 1” with UltraDMD 1.4
Open the file KISSDMDV2.vbs with “blocnote”
Find the two “DisplayScoreboard00” and remove “00” (you should read “DisplayScoreboard”)
File and close
It worked for me so it should work for you !
I just have a question, do you know why UltraDMD 1.4 is less colored than 1.3 ? (for this table)And big thanks for this fantastic table, I was a Kiss fan when I was a young boy
and I still listen to their albums, but only from the period before “creatures of the night”

April 26, 2017 at 6:54 am #53078DisplayScoreboard00 is only in 1.4 – I think .. so it sounds like you dont have that version. When it starts it shows the version # in the corner .. can you just double check the version..
