Shouldn’t B2S server just be distributed this way since there are no ill effects and backglass files are larger than they used to be?

There’s plenty of other great tables for VPX.
We should probably consider closing this thread. Nothing else to be said here. A recreation for a table this recent just brought unwanted attention and trouble. The only other comments here are going to be “I wish I could download this table”.

For certain things, VPX authors have FX3 beat. But for other things, FX3 is better.
The main difference is… if something isn’t right in a VPX table we can just go in and fix it. If something isn’t right in one of these commercial games we have to beg and plead for them to fix it and, largely, get ignored.

It’s a primitive post, I believe. If someone wants to mod the table and post it, that’s fine… or pm it to me and I’ll upload it.

Looks pretty nice… does it let you size it down so that you can see more of the apron?

Start bombing their Steam forum with feedback and suggestions if you have a certain direction you want them to take it. That screenshot looks pretty good.
I would…if they hadn’t banned me for life (without notice) from their forums for posting a video of my FX3 Aliens PuP-Pack. :P
Yeah, that probably wasn’t very smart… anyway, everyone else… Start bombing their Steam forum with feedback and suggestions if you have a certain direction you want them to take it.

I’m pretty sure Farsight lost all those tables because they didn’t want to keep paying for the license along with the Stern tables. I figure they thought they could do better with Stern because they were newer, flashier tables… too bad for the people that bought all those tables and are losing all future support for them.
So then Williams just took their business to FX3… hope it works out for them.

Cool. I hope Pinball Arcade takes a beating.
Will be interesting to see what these look like in FX3.
*edit* I just watched the video… those guys seem like they are actually into pinball.

You win a special prize. It’s…. nothing.
Sorry, I didn’t realize what you were talking about at the time.

On the off chance that anyone else was curious about this, it turns out to be the global “overwrite ball image” option in the video preferences that was causing it. Toxie and fuzzel are looking into a possible fix.

This is looking great. I had that redraw sitting in a folder for probably close to a year (or something). Really glad that it made its way to a wip, and Scottacus has this table looking very nice so far!

Hey… this looks very well done and I love the theme that could easily be something you would see on an 80’s table. Gonna check this out. Thanks.

Here’s a link to some info and discussion. Some of it is probably out of date. I think I told randr I wanted to transfer this over here at some point but I’m too lazy.
