I’m a little dummy! You can’t set the monitor number for the 3rd screen! After a reboot the problem was back.
What i have found is that PinballX works fine on the 3rd screen. I have set it to topper monitor. When i uncheck “hide topper” and start the table from PBX the DMD displays fine (screenshot). Unfortunatly i’m using this monitor to display the wheel image and you can see the image behind the DMD while playing.
All tables worked fine before the update!
Any help would be appreciated.

The monitor number for the 3rd screen was missing in screenres.txt. I don’t know what messed it up because the rest of the numbers were correct.

OK, i decided to put this here because i’m not sure if this is caused by the same bug.
After updating everything to the official 10.5 release (latest sambuild and b2s server) about 70% of the time when i start a table from the editor or PinX the DMD on the 3rd screen is to big. Deleting everything rom related didn’t help. Right clicking and resizeing didn’t save. It worked for the session i changed it but after a restart it was again to big (screenshot). It also happened to the scorebug on the victory table. Sometimes when you get lucky it opens with the right size.
Did i do something wrong on the update? Overwrote everything and hit the install button in pimame.
Thanks in advance!

Wow, what an update wrd!
Good decission to go back to an already finished table and update it. Especially on a legendary table like Dr. Dude! It looks and plays awesome. Maybe a bit to fast for my old eyes but thats my fault! I really like when a table has some depth and you can see the elevated things more easily.
This time i want to not just thank the “rest of the Team”. This has become way to common over the last year. I know how much work the “rest of the Team” has to do on a table like that so a big thanks to
Cyberpez, Rothbauer, nfozzy, flupper, DJrobx and bord
for your hard, excellent work!

Solution I think is getting a generation back that was raised properly perhaps? Like a generation that understands… no your not intitled to everything and sorry but the truth may actually hurt!
Well said!
Seems to be the same all over the world!

aaawww…. that was very sweet…. love ya buddy….
this is perfect timing for this funny shit… I got this message from an admin in one of the FB groups just today
this isnt a joke….
“I respect the work that you do for the community but that’s all. And if I didn’t had that little respect I’d kicked you off the group a long time ago since most of your post are arrogant, demeaning, snooty and simply not respecting other people’s opinions. Since you reached an age of where I would suspect being above childish behavior I can and will expects such behavior from YOU!”
I think he was right on the Money ……….. ah, and thanks for being that way!!!! Long live the big mouthed 80’s!
This shit comes from one of those greasy wannabe FB A-Holes that i hate with a passion. Thank god i never entered the dark side of the internet.
In WRD’s Dr. Dude thread somebody wrote that you had to say something about people downloading and not saying thank you. I couldn’t find the post. If somebody could please post me a link. I’m really, really interrested in what you had to say!!

What do you mean! I just told him that i don’t know anything about a moded rom. I’m not the most informed guy when it comes to roms. Is there a better one then the standard vector?

Did you try to hit F1 while the table is running and see if the show DMD is checked?

For those of you who have a 3rd screen.
I have cut out the score area and inserted into a 1920×1080 black Image so it doesen’t get stretched. Made the 3rd screen a topper monitor in PinballX and told it to keep the image when starting the table. It was a bit tricky to fit the scores in there, but once it’s done it looks great.
Question, is it possible to change the size of the digits and the distance of the lines to make it look more the original?
To take this further, how about being able to have the score in the background and use the Image as a bezel with cutouts so credit and match are visible? Just dreaming….

I’m not a WIP guy! I don’t think tables for free need a hype or some sort of advertising. But it’s great if you need help or beta testers!

Looks awesome with all the rendered images and illumination “style White Water”, I never played this table before and it looks really fun, a big thank you to the team.
Only missing the center target animations, but u also included a file with the round red targets inside the file, I only had to interchange the visible tag on the working targets and the “fake” awesome rendered but static targets, and add the image to them (just telling how cause maybe someone wants to change this too), it’s sad to have to choose.
If for some reason u update the table, maybe I’m wrong but I think there’s no reason to not tag the wireramps as static, they look a little better with the supersampling.
Tomorrow I will play it a lot more for sure, thanks! Lately u are raising a lot the visual bar.
You have to check if the static wireramps are working on your system. The table is very sensitive to Depth Bias and static rendering. On my cab the wireramps are covered by the transparent ramps if i make ’em static.
Center targets got a full render as a whole. So as it is now, no animation for each target, otherwise you loose the rendering.
