I have a 3 screen cabinet in forced exclusive Fullscreen mode, and whenever I load this table I get a black screen on my dmd and backglass monitors. The playfield comes up and I can actually play it minus the BG and dmd. When I close the table the BG and dmd monitor continue to have a black screen. When I go to task manager it says pinupdisplay is not responding. I have no trouble running Stranger Things, Harry Potter and other tables, and PUP packs. Does anyone have any advice what to do?
I have this same issue, have to manually force close the pup display, restart game, and then it all works…. I see multiple people here and on Facebook have same issue, but see no solutions :(
Same here. Backglass is a black screen and i have to force it to close. However, this error occurred after i disabled the orbital scores since that gave me script errors. Before that i could see the backglass loading.

I disabled the orbital score as instructed. But now whenever i load the table, the pup backglass doesn’t load and i only see a black screen in it’s place. Then, when i close the table i can see the pup exes being feezed and i have to force them to close.

Ok thanks.
I tested Stranger Things before i read your comment and it seems like the table and pup pack are working fine.
The error is still there when i run the .bat though.
I’ll try some more pup pack tables. If the error still pops, am i missing anything? As long as the tables work, i wouldn’t care less if this error doesn’t affect them tbh.

I have an issue that can reproduce in many different systems so i assume it’s an issue with the table itself.
When you plunge the ball and you get a “skill shot”, the whole thing stutters/slowdowns for a few seconds.

Seems like my rom is not good, the sound samples are “unavailable” instead of “OK”.

Is there a way to turn sounds ON in this table? I have all the roms but i still get no sound other than the flippers and ball.

Use this little Tool To turn ddraw off for each game Plus default—> http://tinypin.nl/VPtools/
Or if you are familiar with the registry then you can go straight there
In the registry turn ddraw off for each game plus default
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame
Thanks, this works.
Though there is no DDRAW in the default category so i have to do this on every table separately.

Just because you are having a problem doesn’t mean everyone is. It would be more helpful if you can elaborate on why you think it doesn’t work in exclusive fullscreen. IE: are you getting an error message?
I posted on my behalf. I don’t know if it works for others.
Anyway, when i use exclusive fullscreen im getting this message:
Machine “TAF_L7” (Addams Family, the (L5 Prototype L-7)) terminated before initialized, check the rom path or rom file
I do have the rom and it works fine if i disable exclusive fullscreen. I searched around and i think this has something to do with directdraw but i don’t know what to do next.

If i don’t use exclusive fullscreen i’m getting all kinds of stutters and frame pacing issues. As a result, the ball doesn’t move smoothly even if i have a very high framerate. So it’s important to be enabled.

Deleting the nvram doesn’t help. The slowdown comes back after a couple of games. This makes the table broken, maybe there is another fix?

I can’t move it, the only thing i can do is press ctrl+alt to bring the DMD on top. This black window looks like another instance of an empty DMD or something. Is there a way to disable it?

I’m getting an error:
Line 69
Gamename not found.
I downloaded the rom from the link above.

I do have the original version but it has sound issues (no sound on the rubbers and flippers).
I did manage to make the direct2bs work in all other FSS tables, although the main issue with this version is that the in-table DMD doesn’t show anything.

The DMD inside the table doesn’t show anything. Also, is there a way to use a direct2bs?

I think this table is the best looking i have seen so far.

Balrog (The red monster at the top center) has a weird looking object on his back. Is that intended? Because it looks like it’s wrong.

Edit: Oh nvm, it was hidden for some reason in the script.
