Sounds like you need to update your Visual PinMAME.

VPMAlias was added in version 3.3b

      Find here…

      https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=11571

      Installation:
Simply copy all of the files in the ZIP into your already existing Visual PinMAME directory. Overwrite already existing files there when asked.

Run Setup.exe and press the ‘Install’ button.

      Great work on this table!!!

Thanks to all who had helping hand!!

      Carry on.

Would be easier just to click the Backdrop tab and highlight all objects and move them off to side.

I think scaring people away from uploading, or holding them back, is the last thing anyone wants here.

We can all agree on that!!

Tom was actually asking this for other peoples tables. (So it would be their clout, not his.)

He specifically named Bounty Hunter and City Slicker in the first post. (Those are not his uploads.)

The great Bord uploaded Bounty Hunter, and the great MisterMixer uploaded City Slicker.

          Carry on.

“The thing what is frustrating for me if people download and don’t respond.”

If a table builder just goes on feedback from community, you may be waiting a long time to get feedback from some.

More than 3/4’s of the people or more who download an item, don’t even leave a thanks, or any type of acknowledgement.

“Everybody asking everytime about dof i cannot fix that and also the lighting can be better, but i get no reaction if i post that in my support topics.”

Yes funny how they can tell you what isn’t working on their rig, and critique your lighting, but no thanks at all.

This is the lonely road that all table makers travel on.

Maybe a small amount of fame, and no fortune at all.

All work, and very little time to play.

So the least we can do is give them their 1 day of glory on the front page.

If someone only changes their download links on a few items, those updates push the new upload off the front page.

For example, not naming names. Someone updated their download links, (offsite links) almost every day for a week awhile back.

Everyday I would sign in and see the same items on the front page, for about a week I saw this.

I would check the download page, and check the changelog section, and nothing was editted except for the offsite download links.

Having a seperate section on front page for just updated items would solve this problem.

I am not sure if I asked Randr to do this, But when I was uploading all of those NFL mods, I personally sent Paul (Noah Fentz) on VPForums a message telling him to NOT add my tables to the new uploads section. So I wouldn’t push anyone elses new stuff off the front page. You can ask him yourself.

He was happy to oblidge me. That was over 5 years ago.

So the front page is important to people who upload there creations, whether they want to admit it, or not.

Give them their day of glory. Yes it may be a small consolation prize, but its better than nothing.

            Just my 2 cents.

            Carry on.

Maybe only have new uploads on one part of front page towards the top, and updated items on a seperate part, below.

So they can update their item 20 times a week if they want, but it will never push someones new upload out of view.

I have actually missed new tables a couple of times because of this on other sites.

Now I just go to the download page, and scroll all the way down to make sure I haven’t missed any recent uploads.

Nice to see you back working on these tables my friend!!

Thank you for sharing your work!!

And thanks to Bord also!! and thanks to anyone else who had a hidden helping hand in this creation!!!

                It is appreciated!!

                Love the Desktop background!!

                @bha19

When you hit END, there is no notification on the LEDs that the coin door is open.

Not until you hit the 9 key, do the LEDs show you have entered adjustment menu.

If you still have problems, I added the 5 ball nvram as attachment.

Place contents of attachment in your nvram folder, and you will now have 5 Balls per game.

                Thanks again!!

                Carry on.

I don’t think he sells our tables on ebay.

He is one of Pauls (VirtuaPin) direct competitors.

I think you have had to of heard of VPCabs before now.

I think he sells them on VPUniverse. Or has ad on their site, to be more precise, if I remember correctly.

Think they have ad on Itchigo’s great Rogue Pinball site too.

VPUniverse is offline at this time, and is in the process of switching servers.

You can find a great backglass here…until VPUniverse is back up and running.

This reminded me of something similiar. Awhile back, VPCABs was on that show SharkTank.

I asked my girlfriend to be ready to watch that episode when it aired, so she could have a better picture of why I am spending less and less time with her….LOL

It is included with table download I believe.

When you extract the table file, you will see a mousn_l4-PUPVideos.rar file.

Load table into editor and click script.

Go to Line 129 and change…

                          .hidden = 1

                          to…

                          .hidden = 0

Have you tried, (While table is running), hitting the END key to open the coin door, then press 9 to raise the volume?

I think the only roms this method worked on, are on this site…

                                http://altsound.vpin24.com/

So I am guessing if you don’t see the roms altsound file on that site, this method will probably not work on that particular rom.

I am also guessing the owner of that site, has tried this method on all the roms, and just added all the ones the method above worked on.

                                I could be mistaken though.

                                  Try this rom..

                                  wwfr_103

If it still doesn’t work, you probably need to update your VPinMAME.

Or run setup.exe in your VPinMAME folder, and click Setup Paths and make sure path is pointing to the rom.

I am indeed working on updating all of the NFL Team table mods.

Honestly, these NFL team mods were the first tables I ever worked on, and back then I didn’t know what the hell I was doing!! I barely knew how to copy and paste pics back then!! lol And I only used the paint program that came with windows back then for graphics editting, so all pics lost transparency when saving, so that made things difficult to say the least. Also I never knew about adding timers to music back then.

Long story, short version..I have learned alot since then.

Right now I am working on making the plastics look like the original NFL table. There are no good resource pics to be found anywhere on the net.

(Anybody out there with access to this NFL pinball table, it would certainly be appreciated if you could take some hi-res pics of this table!!)

Remember only the backglass was different for each NFL team on the original table. The plastics graphics were all the same.

So once this new original table is completed, I will build the team mods with the original plastics as default. And then the Home, Away, Color Rush, and older team emblem themes can be toggled in script or by keypress.

32assassin has sent me all of his resources, and he upgraded sliderpoints NFL wip table with a bunch of new primitives and a hell of alot more!!

So 32assassin and sliderpoint should be the ones you thank when these are all completed.

I also have all the resources to make each team backglass as it was originally.

Coyo5050 sent me all of his resources for the original backglasses. He is the one who made 4 or 5 great original NFL backglasses!!

So I also will be completing all the original team backglasses. You should thank Coyo5050 when these are completed.

I am also looking into using the altsound method for the music and sounds for each team. So no music will be scripted into table.

iDigStuff sent me the NFL rom in ogg format, ready to be modified.

You should thank iDigStuff when the altsound packages are completed.

And you should thank hawkeyez88 for making these awsome NFL PupPacks!!

                                            Thank you all!!

So stay tuned for some pretty huge updates!!!

                                            Thank you for your time.

                                            Carry on.
