I guess the user PATH variable is not correctly set:

go to Start–>right click on My computer, click on properties,  then on Advanced System Settings , the system properties window will show.

From there go to the Advanced Tab and click on environment variables…

Top is the user and bottom is the system environment variables. Go in the system environment variables (bottom list) and search the variable named path.

Double click on it and copy the contents into the clipboard.

Now go to the top list (user variables) double click on the user path variable and paste the content here, overwrite everything.

Once done double click on the user path variable (again top list) and add this

        ;C:\MinGW\bin;C:\P-ROC\cmake\bin;C:\Python27\Scripts;C:\Python27

        When finished rerun step 2.

EDIT: OK glad you sorted it out, this could be handy for other users

Ups, sorry, I made a mistake about the games folder in the uninstall.bat. Anyway you’ll find them in c:\p-roc\games

Move everything to c: again , just leave the cactuscanyon folder, so you have a c:\p-roc\games\cactuscanyon

Regarding the VP Bridge failure you can try this:

move it to c:\p-roc and then open a cmd prompt as administrator ( start–>all programs–>accessories and right click on the command prompt and click run as administartor). Once you are in type:

              cd c:\p-roc

              python registerproc.py

You can try to redraw it.

                  I still don’t see the facts :)

When you’ll show me what your saying, my credibility will be gone, for now, yours is gone instead.

he said he got permission from authors to sell the DVD

False, he said that he got permission for all the VPX tables present in the forum, not to sell the DVD.

he was banned because he went scorched earth and replaced his uploads with advertisements for his website that sold DVDs

False, he was banned because he uploaded flyer images of a table instead of the table itself, after Noah menaced him of legal actions for the DVDs.

Then once he found out how unpopular it was that he was selling tables, he removed the DVD sales on his website.

False, he removed them because he was menaced of legal actions by Noah.

He posted a couple tables here then asked randr to pay him for his tables to be posted here

My friend saw Jesus last night………..Jesus exists! I want evidences, I want facts, I don’t believe in Jesus.

                    I have nothing to prove.

This means that all that you said is not the truth. Is what you want to SEE the truth.

Ok Fren can you prove what you say? I want you to prove this:

                      “Tom’s transgressions are well documented”

                      and especially this:

“He asked people to PAY HIM TO PUT HIS TABLES ON THEIR WEBSITE”

This is ridicolous. I knew it wasn’t a joke :negative:

The sephir guy was not INSTANTLY banned, think twice before attacking people.

He still thinks he’s right to sell HIS work, hours and hours of configurations (and work), can , in his opinion, justify the listings.

He also said he doesn’t advertise HIS work on the sites, so he ‘s OK .  He also personally attacked me after I commented one of his youtube videos, saying that I’m the only one disappointed by his behaviour; he then asked the names of the “disappointed people “,  because he thinks I’m the only one :)

About the Fire Button: I made a new one, more authentic

The question is: should I leave the button where it is or should I move it in the apron (or in the backglass) so it can be displayed in FS?

In DT there’s no problem, as you can see in the pic.

What rom are you using? The tables need this rom:

                              http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/3274-acd_168hzip/

Probably you are using the Pro rom (acd_168)

Where did you download vpinmame? If you don’t see ac/dc in the romlist, probably you don’t have the SAM build of vpinmame:

Shocker, now everyone knows how the movie industry feels (game, music, art, book publishing or any industry where your works can be sent or made digital) and so on. But I do agree with all of you that it totally sucks, because I appreciate all of the hard work and I also look forward to when a table will be completed. HF, you had to see that one coming. You’re like the two guys that started Facebook (hey, look at my stuff), then someone else steals another great idea. Just a shame that being nice or helpful in this world doesn’t get you very far. With 99.9% of the world, it’s all about the money. People always get mad at me for what I say (could really care less). My point is that even with it being FREE or making money, people still might not be so happy. Example, all of the builders made the Metallica Premium Monsters table (it’s a hobby or whatever) and you give the product away for free, great (because I couldn’t play it on my PC otherwise, so thank you). But even for free, I bet if you wrote Stern and said to them, hey look what I made with your property and I give it to everyone in the world for free. Stern most likely wouldn’t be as ecstatic as you. Then for someone to turn around and sell the copyrighted property as the person above on Ebay, is just unreal. I’m glad that Stern and others let these sites exist, maybe they have better things to do besides worrying about all of us.

I agree with you, but there are two differences: the sites/authors that host this stuff , they do it for free;  so even if we are using some copywrited material, we are not doing nothing illegal because we are not making profit from licensed material or ideas.

Second one: we are not making real tables to compete with Stern or any other pinball manufacturer, it’s only digital pinball, it can’t even compare to real tables.

Well at least that’s my point; there is now The Stern Pinball Arcade that sells tables for Stern, but they sucks :D

I downloaded TPA some time ago and tried some tables , the free ones; I uninstalled it after 2 days. There’s no passion in those software/tables, it’s only money.

Can you imagine one of the great talented authors working at Farsight? Tables will be waaaay better.

I’m italian and I have an italian ebay account, what I have to do?

I mean to report this shit.

Many thanks for completing the most eagerly awaited table on my list. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Keep up the kick ass work. What are you working on next? Edit: Holy Shit 263MB. Guess this one WONT be going on VPF. lol

Thanks wrd. I have some projects on my list:

Indiana, The Shadow, Big Bang Bar,Family Guy,NBA(stern).

I also started converting MOTU, I really like that table, but I think it will take some time.

The Shadow: I was rebuilding the pf,  but let’s say I started it, we can build it toghether, so if anyone wants to join in… it’s not a difficult layout and  without plastic ramps. BBB, FG and NBA are 90-95 % done.

Thank you guys, glad you like it.

@bord: well, there are two ways of doing it: one is using the ball height so you need to change this:

                                            If BOT(b).Z > 20 Then
                                            BallShadow(b).visible = 1
                                            Else
                                            BallShadow(b).visible = 0
                                            End If

                                            Into this, for example

                                            If BOT(b).Z > 20  AND BOT(b).Z < 50 Then
                                            BallShadow(b).visible = 1
                                            Else
                                            BallShadow(b).visible = 0
                                            End If

This says to render the shadow only when ball height is something between 20 and 50 (remember that the ball height =  ballsize/2)

There’s another way, more complex, by placing a trigger on ramp enter and another one on ramp exit, then use an array:

                                            ReDim OnRamp(tnob-1)

                                            For i = 0 to (tnob-1): OnRamp(i)=0:next

                                            ……………

                                            If BOT(b).Z > 20 AND OnRamp(b)= 0 Then
                                            BallShadow(b).visible = 1
                                            Else
                                            BallShadow(b).visible = 0
