Clearly they a massive flippers I did it as a joke but I guess it went way over your heads! There is no lighting on the table yet so yeah everything is dark and will get darker b/c I like it that way!
most people DO get your jokes, and in return also post JOKES. Maybe I should have also said, “you must have got them from Fren”, then it might have dripped more sarcasm.

Really nice work on this SliderPoint.
And table works great using the auto(by time) Day->Night slider
and nice idea to adjust the gi intensity depending on the brightnessWhat are you poking around the code for!?

So I played more of the newer WIP. Better, but still ran into scenarios where it was creating lots of extra balls.
I’ll PM you.

Ray, something to check:
In the Editor select the object LeftFlipper, in options make sure the “enabled” box is checked. Repeat for RightFlipper.I have no idea how they would become unchecked for you.

CD, really looking good!
Still an issue with the ring. If it’s not lit to start a mode and you hit, it creates another ball. So two pop out the back.
Have you thought about using a cvpmMagnet class for sw48 and not have it destroy/create a the ball in two different triggers? Just have the ramps go all the way around the back like the physical table? See the vbsdoc.html for guide and a TOTAN table for good examples.

Dude I’m in Spokane! The pins are pretty scattered around here and nothing new anywhere. I think lilac lanes has the most pins in a group with a whole 6!

Just make sure the LED lighting is bright as fuck, almost hard to look at. At least that was my impression on the real one I’ve played. Although it was sandwiched between an LOTR and an IJ, so it could have just been by comparison is was that way.

I’m not 100% sure, but I’d think that the game name should actually be “Star_Wars_VP9_1.0FS” Not “Star Wars (Data East 1992)”. I would think that would be the description.
You can try that or maybe someone with Hyperpin will verify.
-Mike
EDIT: actually your MFG and year are wrong based on the screenshots too.
I think it should look like this:<game name=”Star_Wars_VP9_1.0FS”>
<description>Star Wars (Data East 1992)</description>
<manufacturer>Data East</manufacturer>
<year>1992</year>
<type>SS</type>

I think REALLY had this correct with his link to the other discussion on this type of error. This has to be an error in your hyperpin .xml file. I don’t use HyperPin so I don’t know the name of the visual pinball .xml file is. But if you can find it, maybe you can upload that and we can look for errors inside that file.

I kinda dig this Snake Mod. Helps tie that snake head into something.

Also, downloads are looking good. But is there any chance you could hook up with Freezy?

I realize this may not be something you can affect, but in tappatalk the “timeline”shows the most recently created topics, not the most recent posts. Is that anything you can help with. Don’t see any options within the app to change it.
Thanks

This is looking great!
I have a problem where if I shoot the ring to start a mode and then shoot the ring again, the ball gets stuck in the ring magnet and won’t drop out until ball search.
Also, There is a lot of strange ball behaviors. I suggest you should probably put in some hidden VP objects and ramps and disable collision on the primitive objects. VP just isn’t quite there yet for handling those complex collisions on the many faces of the primitives.
Lastly you need to up your playfield friction value to eliminate some of the ball “crawling” up and around the rubbers and posts. Something like .2 should help.
Excellent work so far!

November 10, 2015 at 4:54 am in reply to: Wheel Image collection based on Pinballx game manager naming (1900 wheels) #2348Wow, 1900!! That is about 1750 more than I have.
-Mike
Edit, does Fire and Firepower work properly for you guys with pinballx?
That is the only one that it messes up for me. I get two firepower wheel images even though the table and bg images are correct and they all have the same name respectively. You need to login in order to like this post: click here
I guess I meant more, it says “For ICPJuggla”, I’m not him, so it was a bit confusing.
