Like all your previous work this looks and plays great.  I look forward to spending more time on it once I get back to working on my cab again.  Thanks again bord.

First off thanks Scottywic for this amazing table and I’ve been enjoying this since downloading the beta last summer.

I’m having the same issue with the PUP pack not loading even after updating to the latest version 1.4.4.  What is weird is if I open the beta the PUP pack loads just fine but on v0.50 it does not.  Other table PUP packs seem to work too and right now i am launching straight from VPX and not a front end.  Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks.

Thanks for this great release Knorr but I am having an issue where the machine loses track of the number of balls in play.  Start a game, soft plunge and let it drain so ball save will give you another ball in the shooter lane except it will give you multiple balls like 3-4.  I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this but happening on yesterday and today’s v1.1 update for me too.

All DE pins look like they were drawn by a 5 year old with crayons.  Great job on Back to the Future.

Thanks for your reply and your work on the Tron pup pack Terry.  I just changed the registry at91jit from 1 to 0 and now Tron works fine along with the pup pack.  Weird how MM Pup works fine without having to change at91jit to 0.

Anyhow I am still in process of putting my cab together so next thing on my list is to unbox and activate this pin2dmd I bought from UncleSash in December 2017 :)

My pupplayer kinda works too :)  I just followed TerryRed’s notes and running latest versions of VPX, Sambuild, dmdext 1.7.1, b2s server custom and pinup system 1.4.

Here is the weird part, when I load a table like Medieval Madness in VPX hit F1 to check off external DMD, reload table and the pup pack works perfectly and videos display interactively.  Now when I open Tron without the external DMD checked off the table loads and plays just fine.  It is once I check off external DMD and re-load the table it hangs (as in the insert lights don’t do anything or cycle) and VPX eventually crashes to desktop with no errors.  If I go into the registry and change the property showpindmd back to 0 for Tron it will load and play just fine.

I thought for fun last night let me try setting up the PUP pack for Williams Indiana Jones, checked off external DMD, re-loaded just fine and pup pack working.  I think it has to do with only Stern tables because I tried enabling external DMD for Transformers and it does the same thing as Tron and hangs to a crash.  I’m going to mess around with it and maybe I need to change the registry entry at91jit from 0 -> 1 or vice versa for Stern tables?

Too bad Stern based the artwork and animations off the Michael Bay movie instead of the original cartoon from the 80’s to match this awesome backglass Haunt has created.  It looks great and going to still use it in my cab, thanks for all your contributions and hard work as usual.

Amazing row of pins – very jealous, not least for the amount of space you have! I’m building a VP in the hopes I will one day decide on a firm favorite table that I will eventually be able to afford in real life (that’s the dream). Until then I can at least live vicariously through posts such as this one!

As for PinballX – I’m personally not upto the stage yet for getting the software done in my build but reading up on it suggests that many are moving on from X to the new pinup popper frontend (with hyperpin becoming the definate red-headed stepchild of the bunch)! Think both are viable solutions however!

Looking forward to further pictures if possible ;)

Careful now because real pins can be a very slippery slope!  I use to wonder why would anyone need more than one pinball machine but within my first 12 months I was already up to 3 pins and sold my pool table to make more room which I than proceeded to fill with 6 more pins few months later.  The prices over the last few years have gotten pretty out of hand and I never thought I would have spent $12.5k for my original Medieval Madness which has only been home use only as I am the third owner.  I wish I had chased it earlier like in 2011-12 when they were only commanding a $5500-6000 premium when Congos were like $1400-1600.

I’ve attached a better pic of my Congo “ass-lite” :)  I was never really a fan of the original translite and just thought this one was hilarious because if you look close in the background all the guys including AMY are checking out the girl.

Congo was one of my first pins which I’ve nearly had for 8 years now.  I remember when I first got into the hobby I visited a collector who had a nice collection with the usual A-list games like Twilight Zone, Indiana Jones or Monster Bash.  One day when I asked him to name off his Top 5 pins I was surprised to hear him mention Congo as 4th or 5th.  So next time I went to visit him I spent more time playing it and I really enjoyed it.  I was able to track one down 3 months later and the thought of selling it has never crossed my mind.

Thanks for all the warm welcome guys and looking forward to being a part of this awesome community.  Once I make more progress I will start a build thread for you guys to follow.  I am sure I will have tons of questions along the way as so much has changed from back in 2009-2012 when I was more active in the VP community like what the heck are exciters?

Demolition Man will always hold a special place for me as it was my very first pin and DMD.  Oh I also can’t forget it because I lugged it up and down my basement stairs 3x because that is how many times I’ve sold and re-bought the same machine from my friends over the past 7-8 years     The third time was a charm but I had finally had enough and needed to make room for another title I wanted a lot more which was creech.

Anyways thanks Knorr for all your work and providing all these fantastic updates.  I’m looking forward to enjoying this once my cabinet is done.
