The green lines are PinVol. That’s a very useful, but optional, software that lies on top of VPX. It allows you to adjust the sound of each individual table, and save that specific sound level.
What I’ve learned since posting this question originally is that this problem is super common with sound cards with the CMedia CM6206 chip inside. This a number of branded or unbranded sound cards that sells for 30 -40 bucks. It works fine, but is known to have a flaw, which is that it will send audio to your center channel inappropriately. If simply installing EQAPO didn’t fix the issue, then you may need to expressly direct EQAPO/Peace to copy the center channel into your Left and Right in your pre-mix stage, as so:
Copy: L=L+C
Copy: R=R+CYou can test if this is the solution for you before trying to add the command.  Physically unplug the backglass line out from where it is currently on your sound card. Then plug it into the (presumably) unused center channel jack.  Can you hear the game sounds now? If so, your sounds are being sent to the center channel VPX doesn’t use, and needS to be corrected with the little strings of code above.  Don’t forget when you’re done testing to then unplug your line out from the center channel jack back into the rear jack where it ought to be.

Hi. Is it possible to get a lite version of this table? On my PC, I get a crash, and I know it’s because the image sizes are so large as you have explained. And I understand that you want the images available for future use, which is awesome. But at the same time, many of use won’t be able to enjoy it. Is there a way to provide an image optimized table that you can provide concurrently with this one? Thank you very much!

I have no sound on this table. I have the mechanical sounds, but no game/rom sounds. Anyone else know what’s going on? I tried the usual things like open coin door, , keys 7, 8, 9 etc. but they’re not doing it. Just raising the VPX volume with the + key isn’t doing it. Anyone else not have game sounds?

Hi. The table looks great!
Every time I shoot the ball, and it goes to the outermost lane with the blue divider (right at the top), the ball gets stuck. No question about it, the ball gets stick between the two. Anyone else?

How is the community supposed to use these? Do we reimport them to replace existing models, just as we might reimport images? I ask because new toy models are uploaded from time to time (like the just released set from the Shadow). But what are we supposed to do with them? I’ve come to understand how to replace images with new images. is there a similar process for models that people do to update their tables with new/better resources?

What happened to the right slingshot plastic? The image of the saluting girl got way worse than the previous version.
EDIT: Looking at it several times suggests that maybe the image isn’t better per se, but actually more actuate. The old image way have been cleaner and brighter, but looks like an artistic interpretation, a redraw. I don’t know.

Well there is definitely the option to disable showing high scores on a per table basis. That did work. There is no global option for this so far as I can find, which is rather surprising. That would make a good feature on a future update.

Thank you outhere.
I am doing this already. I use 7zip and download the zip directly from Nailbuster’s site. I have exceptions for several folders, including PinUPSytem, Visual Pinball, Downloads, and Desktop. When I have the zip downloaded, I am unblocking the file before extraction as you instruct. After unblocking, I unpack the files into the newly empty PinUPSystem folder.
Somehow, I’m getting that PinUpDisplay error on the very first step of the install process when I try to register and configure the Player.
I have no anti-virus software and Windows defender is in every way turned off as much as I possibly can make it.
Thank you for your response and time!

Well I’m sad to report that the situation just appeared to be getting worse. There were a few other new errors being thrown up as I spent about 5 hours this afternoon working on it.  One of these errors was “PinUpDisplay.exe – Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close application.” And it would often times issue multiple of this dialogue box which I had to close out at at a single instance.
In a rather desperate move, because I really don’t know what to do at this point, I decided to just reinstall pinup player and popper. I have all my media backed up, so the thought was that this might only be a few hours of effort reinstalling. I used Windows uninstall process to remove pinup from the computer. I then deleted my PinUPSystem folder from the C: drive. I then decided I’d follow the process and get PinUp Player working, first and then install Popper and get it working.
The thing is, the install process is failing on me.
I now have a blank PinUpSystem folder now, no folder or files. I unblock and copy all the fPinupPlayer folder/files into it. I then go to run PinUpPlayerRegister.bat as admin, and when I do so, it comes up with a black box and says “There are no entries in the list”. But what doesn’t occur at that point however is the PinUpPlayerConfigDisplays application to allow me to configure my screens, nor prompt asking if I want to allow the application to make changes to my computer. Instead I get the “PinUpDisplay.exe – Application Error” I mention above.
So now I’m in a real mess it seems. The whole system, in a matter of 72 hours went from fully functioning and wonderful, to “Wheelbar not found” to unable to even reinstall.
At this point I don’t know what to do. I wiped my PC of Pinup software, so I can’t really go back at this point. I can only press on with a reinstall. But how am I to reinstall the software if I get fatal errors even in the install process? Or how do I remove all traces of PinUPSystem from the PC so I can even install fresh? I don’t know what my next move is, and I’ve very dejected.

I’m sorry, I don’t get how this is supposed to run. The puppack contains no playlist/screens/triggers.pup files.
Am I missing something??????

When I try to play with this pup-pack, all I get is a single overlay on my backglass. It is a blank screen with the words Iron Man fading in and out. It looks nothing like the Backglass I think is supposed to come up. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

Same with me. Â I had some crashing issues earlier, but that seems to have resolved itself without the at91jit fix above (for which I’ve never had to do with any other table either). Â One of those turn of pc and turn back on fixes I guess. Â So now he table/playfield, DMD, and PupPack load and remain active now, no problem. Â The problem I have now is much like yours I think. Â The PUPPack BG loads and plays, only a mostly black screen with the words Iron Man on it, that single video looping over and over. Â I can play the table and run through the game, but never does the backglass change from that single looping video. Â No idea why! The only thing I did to the PupPack was turn off the topper since I don’t have one.

Yes, I’ve read of this at91jit thing before. Â Never have I had to mess with it with any of the 200+ tables I use consistently on my cab. Â So far, in about the 25 or so Pup-Packs I’m using, I’ve not yet needed to mess with this. Â Although a little reading suggests at91jit is more of a stern issue, so perhaps that’s why this pup-pack specifically is troublesome for me. Â Great. Â Thanks. Â I’ll test it out.

This game PupPack crashes my VPX. Â My comp is a i5 4570 and teh GFX card is a Gigabyte 1050ti, and I’m running a 3 screen (PF 4k, BG 720p, and 1280×320 DMD). Â Yes, I know I’m woefully underpowered, but I get 60fps on most every table with Ambient Occlusion on, but no other bells and whistles unfortunatley. Â Okay, so yes, my PC is underpowered, but could that be the issue? Â the Star Trek LE tables uses an even bigger (1.2GB Pup-Pack, and I have no issue with that PupPack. Â I tried reducing the size of the Iron Man media with the included tool (which is awesome), but it didn’t help, just continued to crash. For comparison purposes, I tried re-sizing the Star Trek LE media down also, and it cased that table to crash too, but where the full-size media didn’t. Â So… who knows on that. Â At any rate, has anyone had failures to load withthis Iron Man PupPack? Â When I launch the table I can see the VPX PF come up, the initial Pup-Pack BG, and I can see the DMD trying to initialize, but then both the DMD and Playfield crash and leave me with only a running BG. Â I then have to task kill the pupdevice. Â Never had this acute of a problem with a pup-pack, and no other pup-pack causes such catastrophic fauliure for me. Â And it’s not an issue with the muted rom I don’t think. Â The muted rom tests perfectly in the VPINMAME setup tool. Â Thanks for any guidance!

With the release of 1.4.2 beta, and the eventual formal integration of the media server, which is AWESOME, I think it would be cool if we could get an additional media field for T-ARC or T-BAR loading videos. Â These will be coming out more and more, no doubt. I’d love to see a community push for these, just as when Tarcisio wheels started flooding out when Popper adopted his style.
I’d like to say, I’m dumb.
I totally did not see this was already a feature. Â Excellent work to the development team. Â They’re way ahead of where our brains are at!

Is there any way to make this default to a single player mode only? I thought that there might be an option in the table script, but I could not see one.

I noticed that flippers don’t sound anymore with my FX3 SSF. They used to. I have all the other SSF sounds, like the slings, bumpers, drain and such, but not flippers. No game has flipper sounds anymore. The default FX3_PUP_SSF folder contents never changed, nor did any of the completed FX3 pupvideo folders I have. I never changed anything, deleted, added, or modified. The flipper sound just disappeared. I am updated to the latest (as of now) 6.71 version. looking into the problem, I noticed now there is a supplementary .ini called “SUP-PuP_SSF_Flippers from TerryRed”. Do we need to initiate flipper sounds from this .ini now? Or is there perhaps another reason why I no longer have flipper sounds but once did? It’s perplexing because all the other sounds seem to be fine…
SOLVED: Found a separate flipper SSF thread requiring either an .ini change or use of the supplementary file. Flipper sounds working now.

Oh my gosh. Â EQAPO fixed it. Â Just installing it fixed it.
It’s so weird. Â One day it all works, SSF, rom sounds, everything. Â The next day it doesn’t.
I have no explanation why or what I may have done, but simply installing Equalizer APO fixed it.
Thank you all, from the bottom of my pinball-obsessed heart.
Please PM me or post here a tip jar if any of you have one.
