One of my faourites, thank you!
You guys should make this little change in the script for fast flips: UseSolenoids=2
@gear323: I have to delete the other 2 tables in the room for good frame rates in almost every room. Could you please consider to provide a lessThan1080tiVersion for the others? Thank you!You need to login in order to like this post: click here

This one was uploaded into the VR section. Are you sure this one contains a VR room?

Tried this out in VR… Amazing! Glad I finally got a way to experience this excellent table.
Then I looked at the table itself… Man that’s some crazy clever stuff. Standard tables are hard enough in VPX’s 2D editor but this is next level. Such a big fan of your work!
Did you menage that the backglass appears in correct size and angles? If so, how did you do it? Do you mind to release this with arconovums permission in a VR room?

January 14, 2020 at 4:06 pm in reply to: VR ROOM Simpsons Pinball Party, The (Stern 2003) (VRR 1.0).vpx #158625I love this one, thanks mate!
I decreased some values on the spotlights, those are too 2D imo. And I made the room a bit darker overall. Plus I changed UseSolenoids=2 in the script for fastflips(?).
The right flipper on the upper playfield make me angry. For me it is almost impossible to lock the ball. I tried to increase the flippers strength but that didnt help. Any suggestions?
I wish we had some ball-on-ramp-sounds here. What other technology are we missing?
Overall this is one of my favourites.

Nice! This one wasnt enjoyable w/o a backglass in VR. The “mirror” killed the immersion. Thanks for the work!
I highly recommend to replace the annoying environment emission image on this table (i.e. the one from IJ, but there have been made some other lighting tweaks then).

The whole idea of VR is that we can enjoy true scaling and size of out beloved pins. IJ has a full wide body modelled in this VR ROOM and is way larger than the other ‘normal’ standard bodies ;).
So no need for changing the scaling.
I am playing with a pinsim. The table appeared to me as wide as my pinsim as all other (standard body) tables do. And the table was way too short. The scaling change fixed this for me. I have seen a comment where the incorrect size was mentioned as well. Maybe this works natural for some guys and doesnt for others?

Thanks for the work and upload? Keep em coming! Not sure if this was mentioned before. IJ is a wide body machine. This tables appears to be too short, because the standard scale settings are for standard body tables. Just change the scaling in VR settings to 62 (or 61,63.. what you prefer) to get a correct table size. Unfortunately the backbox is too big then. Maybe the author wants to fix this?
We definately need a 4K version of this. Have a lot of flickering on the metal parts (I used to know how to reduce it but forgot it). Maybe Knorr or g5K want to help us out?

@bko: If you are talking about the VR version: Just check the “keys” options. You should be able to choose a button that recenters the table there.
