Thanks for this… could you please tell what’s the difference between this one and the (MOD) version? They have the same description and change log, so at first glance, they appear to be the same… except this one has a slightly larger size.

So… is there an answer to this question? :)

As so many others said before me, this is a stunning release, especially for someone coding his first table. I’m amazed how talented you are, and thanks so much for sharing this gem.

If I can have one thing to criticize, that would be the flipper physics… someone posted earlier that making shots is difficult, which is generally OK, but I also feel that the shots off the flippers is sometimes a little strange. I see that nFozzy flippers are part of the script but still, I have a hard time making several shots, like the GROOT one and also others. Cannot quite tell you what, but something seems to be off, especially towards the tip of the flippers. By far not as bad, but it reminds me a tiny little bit of Future Pinball flipper shots.

Also, I can easily make the right hand ramp shot with my right flipper backhanded. I only played the real table once, and I don’t remember if that was possible, but I’m not sure this is correct. Some flipper shots seem to be too strong.

Someone who knows the real deal very well please chime in whether the flipper physics are right…

Really great ! Just one Thing, i have big Text in the Playfield, tried with some Settings, but there are also 3 different .bat Files for Change something ?

              I only have 2 Screens, PF 1920 and BG 1280 …

@STAT and others having similar problems with PUP screen setup: Ensure that you have version 1.4.5 of PUP and you run the screen setup to verify that your screens are at the proper position.

Stefan, I think in your case you’d need to select full screen LCD DMD in the script and check if the Apron/FullDMD is indeed at the right position in the setup. I’m a 3-screen user though, so not sure about your 2-screen setup, but my experience is that as long as your screens are showing up correctly in PinUp Player Display -> Configure Screens, they will be also OK during gameplay.

Is this the same table like your earlier Firepower, but without AI?

Thanks for the replies. As @flstclasic said, changing the B2S settings to hide the grill indeed fixed the problem. It is weird though, because this was the only backglass that required such a change. I have many others that worked without such individual configuration adjustment, this is why it was confusing.

What is even stranger: after it started working, I reverted to the previous settings and F3 restarted the table – and it was still working OK. Interesting.

Hmm… for some reason, the DMD area remains blank for me. Am I the only one with this?
All other 3-screen dB2S work OK, but this one doesn’t. I imported the file into the Backglass Designer and don’t see anything missing or why would this happen. Everything is set to ‘Visible’ and still…

Running the 1.2.6 version of the Designer linked above, I was working on a B2S file for a 3-screen backglass which has LED frames on the DMD screen. As soon as I added that, it wasn’t possible to generate the directb2s file, the Designer was hanging (not responding).

Using the 1.2 version of the Designer, I had no problem with generating the file from the same exact project.

That version of the B2S Designer seems to have a problem with generating a directb2s file if there are LED frames on the DMD (3rd) screen.
Reverted to 1.2 and no such issue with the same exact project file.

I’m floored how good this table is, especially considering that it is completely scripted, with no ROM emulation. Amazing talents from all contributors, thank you.

I have a couple of questions regarding the DMD. Contrary to screen shots I have seen in this thread, for me the DMD only shows the current score (and the feet of the witch in the background), but not the Ball in Play or Player information like what the apron DMD has. What am I missing here in my setup?

Also, the info that appears on the right apron DMD, such as ‘shoot the skillshot’ and time remaining etc. never shows on the UltraDMD. Is there a way to get that? I would rather prefer to disable the apron DMD and have everything on the regular DMD screen.

You should change the assigned category though (VPX table videos), since someone looking for VPX tables will not see it listed.

I had that too and deleted a couple roque centigrade files in my tables folder to get it to run.

Thanks. It was actually not in the Tables but the Visual Pinball/User folder where I had to delete the high score files to get it running.

Hmm… with the high score update, I get this:

                                  Capture

It was working fine before the update… what can be the reason for this problem?

While I like JP’s table a lot (it is indeed excellent), I think right now G5K’s is the ultimate version that plays and looks the best. Let me know if you want a copy.

However, just because another site’s owner has his own take on including mp3 files with a table, not sure if that should be taken as some sort of a directive over here… oh well.

Oh, and I updated my severely dated system specs in my sig.

That explains a lot since then your system is way more powerful than mine. I was stumped how could the table run smoothly on a setup described in your earlier signature, yet have stutter on mine.

1 question for those who have. Are you guys play with “force exclusive fullscreen mode” on?

I asking this becouse before i use that i had like 5-6 table which had stutter. Since i set FEFM on i forgot what stutter is. Every table plays perfectly.

Info about config: playing in 4k , 8600k cpu (not overlocked), gtx 1080

1 more suggestion, if you play in 4k turn off every antialiasing, you simply no need it. If you play in 1080p use fast fxaa or normal fxaa those are the fastest.

Sorry if i didnt say anything new, just trying to help.

Yes, I do use “force exclusive fullscreen mode”. I also use “Disable desktop composition” (my cabinet runs Windows 7), because I found that it helps with smoother gameplay on a few tables.
                                          Just 1080p, no 4K here.
                                          AMD FX-8320E on 3.5 GHz, GTX 1060 (3 GB), 3-screen cabinet.

I agree with not crippling visuals of your tables, they are top notch. I’m just surprised about the effect of playfield reflections in this one, because as I mentioned, version 2.1 ran beautifully, with reflections enabled. This one however needs that turned off on my rig. Luckily, doing this doesn’t seem to have any obvious effect or image degradation.

For the record, I have no problem with stutter on Funhouse or your other tables.
