Wow! I installed CCC using the 3.4 of the p-roc software. What a truly incredible table and having crystal clear sound really makes me realise how low quality pinball ROMs are.
Is a great table as well (even the standard one is good).
Is it normal for vpx to crash when exiting to editor when using this . ? I don’t think it is a problem (I guess game scores may not save?). Setting up the table was fun as I could not press f6 then set table up and exit to editor and save… It was ok thonas I just wrote down the coordinate and then set the table up from the settings in the editor and saved before loading the table.
So it’s all good and working but just wondering if CCC crashes for everyone when exiting to editor.
Thanks.
M

Glad you got it working buddy, I was worried I might have problems if/when I ever format my cab :)
For the record, the original redist file posted in the original thread has the following properties:
There is a copy of this file on the following google share, though beware this link will not last forever so get it while you can:

Hi, I also get the “Failed to load <path> SternGB.dll”-error. What was missing and how did you fix it?
Thanks!
Thanks so much for this…. I was about to give up. On my last build it worked 1st time however on my new machine it would not work. I had all the software installed in the included instructions and more as well, but no joy. I was about to give up and just tried the above…. At last it works.

Hi
Sorry if this is a stupid question. I have just done a major pinball PC upgrade including SSD. Most of my pinball tables have a rom and so my high scores have transferred over ok, however I have lost my high score on whoa nellie (it doesnt use a rom).
it is not a fantastic score (under 6k) but i put a lot of time in to get it.
Can anyone tell me where the high score is saved so i can drag it over from my old build?. Many thanks.

Hi
Thanks for the reply, i checked and my settings were as above.
I am getting closer to resolution now, not sure what helped but i installed the new pinballx update – which was 24hrs old so hot off the presses, and also this time went for the 32bit one (default is now 64bit)
anyway, in gameplay everything now is as it should be, both when running directly from visual pinball x AND when running from pinballx frontend.
the backglass and dmd are still on the wrong monitors looking at screenshots on the front end, which i will need to muck about more. 1st world problems i guess :)
thanks

November 10, 2019 at 6:59 am in reply to: Metallica Premium Monsters (Stern 2013) mod of many other mods + Fast Flips #150724Hi. I just discovered this.cracking table thanks to all involved.
Is there a trick to get solenoids to work on it? They all work fine on my other tables but don’t seem supported on this one?
Cheers
Mike

well I gave up, my framerate was just not where i was happy with even with the 980 and going to 2 screens only from the gpu.
now installing on an i5 4690 with 8gb of ram and unlike the old system this is geard for overclocking if need be.
it is replacing a haswell i3 at 3.5ghz on a very bare bones mobo with 4gb of ram. hopefully that will fix it

Well in which case I need to have a look and figure out what is wrong with my system. When the lights are going full tilt I must be on 15fps.
Never had this issue on old build

What a beautiful table. This last few months the bar has been raised so much!.
How is this running for people? Every other table I have work ok but I just updated to windows 10. It is bordering on unplayable on my machine but am wondering if this is due to my clean windows 10 install?
My rig is an haswell i3 (2 core with hyperthreading) (onboard gpu running backglass) and a gtx 660ti running playfield and DMD monitor
Running at 1080p
Just wondering if this is to be expected.
Thanks

Hi
I need to “test” more (such a hardship :D ) and i did not get a screenshot this time sorry, however has anyone else managed to get a stuck ball on the upper right quadrant of the table around the ramp (i am 90% sure it was). i promise to get better details next time however the ball got propper stuck and even forcing a tilt error didnt unstick it.
(it was either stuck their or at the back of the mushroom bumper in the centre with the clown on it….. )
sorry i know i am being too vague, will do better! but just mentioning it incase others have had the same thing and not reported.
thanks.

Hi
So in space shuttle error is line in 187 missmatch.
The line in question
For each lights in GI:lights.state=1:Next
I put the latest beta on to see if that changed anything and all other tables appear to be working now. (I only tried 10 mind you but fire power and TOM work ok.
Thanks

Hi.
Another noob question from me, my googlefu has let me down.
The table is offset to the right and goes off the ends. I pressed F6 from the menu and set the (fantastic) table up just how I like it….. But can’t figure out how to save. If I exit out then play it the table seems to revert back to how it was. Hitting save also does very little. Sorry if I am being stupid.
Many thanks

May 2, 2019 at 12:32 pm in reply to: The Addams Family (Bally 1992) V2 – G5K, Sliderpoint, 3rdAxis #126882Hi
I put some time into this last night and I noticed a strange issue (I don’t think I am imagining it) sometimes when rolling over the “fireball” the ball seems to do some strange issues, such as changing trajectory or maybe hitting an invisible wall.
Is this an issue you guys are aware of, am I going insane ? . It isn’t game breaking just…. A bit “off” if that makes sense.
Any idea?
Thanks.
On bright side I have not had the balls stuck under the electric chair bug in multiball again.

Hi
Well I have downloaded this and I gotta say this has to be one of the best recreations I have ever seen. Also I am pleased to say incase anyone with weaker systems is reading…. It is playable with my i3 and gtx 660ti . I turned down a few settings and sure it stutters ever so slightly on occasion but it is far more than playable.
Imo all of these recreations are mini works of art but this one tops the lot (for now) ;)
Let’s see what next week brings :)

This table looks truly magnificent.
I have not tried it yet but am wondering if i should not get my hopes up too much. am running a haswell i3 with GTX 660ti running the table and the DMD and the onboard running the back glass. i am thinking my pc may refuse to run it.

Hi
I just started this fantastic table in a little competition with a mate. Out of curiosity what happens when you score over 99,999?
I am no pinball wizard but already at 85k after just a handful of goes. if the real table is as “easy” as this i feel it needs another reel on the score.
will the digital high score record over 100,000? thanks
and thanks again for a very nice table.
