Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure what you mean by turning off the sound in the script. I looked through it and didnt see a 0/1 for shutting it off, nor anything pertaining specifically to rom sounds. Could you elaborate?

I am using VPMAlias with this table because I use Firepower DMD underlays as well as the Aerosmith one. The issue I am having is when I load Aerosmith I am still getting Firepower rom sounds. Is there a way to turn them off for Aerosmith without affecting Firepower? Thanks!

Thanks for a wonderful table! I was curious about the Hadron Collider light. Is there a way to make it closer to the information cards, since I used POV to remove the lockbar area and get a bit closer to the table. Thanks!

I love the music of the movie but I am noticing that Mr. Blue Sky will keep playing under other songs as well as the dialogue from the videos, where it starts to become a cacophony of noise.

Thoroughly impressed with the level of gameplay you achieved. Feels just like the real table! I am having an audio issue though, and hopefully anyone can recommend a fix.

The music is playting perfect and lopud, but I cant hear the dialogue on the DMD screen. It sounds muffled at a low volume. Also I cant hear many of the sounds as well. I am not using SSF, just a regular 2.1 speaker system. Any ideas on what I can try? Thanks again for making this weekend a lot more fun!

Thank you for this. Makes the original table look budget. Would love to see you tackle Avengers next!

Excellent work ScottyWic! And thanks TerryRed for the amazing DOF. I have a bug list and questions.

                    The Table

Once I finish a game, the DMD repeats the parchment and doesn’t go back to Demo mode. I turned off the Orbital Scoreboard to give your server a break.
the Moaning Myrtle video is much quieter than the others for the Wand Lock.
When I hit the Potion Cauldron, it seems that the ball gets caught in the bottom where the wall pops up and doesn’t spin with the base for at least two seconds. I don’t know if I miss out on spins with the counter up top though.
The TriWizard Lake Multiball goes off during the Unforgivable Curses when I hit the left ramp. It then proceeds to cancel the Curse game and go right to multibal with two balls. The timer then runs out but the mode stays lit that way as well as the video playing. Once the balls drain I lose the music for the rest of the game. During the multiball I also lose sounds from the dragon. When I restart a game after Ball 3, the music is still gone. I close out of the table and when I try to load it up again (without restarting VPX) I get a Fatal Error concerning shader compilation failed. I have to close out of VPX and restart clean.

Not a bug, but rather a request to add some sort of sound when the ball is ejected from the MiniGame scoop or hits the GOBLET letters. It just seems a little quiet for the ball to strike something and no feedback is heard.

also, for TerryRed, when the cauldron spins, what was the intention for the DOF to fire? My Sainsmart relay buzzes like hell but I didn’t notice anything like my shaker or such going off. Just curious.

Thanks again for such great work and devotion and building an amazing community of pinballers. Happy to be a part of it!

Excellent work all around! This table is beautiful. Have thoroughly enjoyed what I’ve played so far.

But I am seeing a few issues that I cant figure out.

When I get the mini game, my backglass freezes for a second, I lose the frame, and it looks like another window is trying to come up, but it doesnt seem to switch over and the game “loses” and I go back to the table.

The sound is weird. I’m not hearing all of the clicks and such. Hitting the red dragon doesnt make any sound at all, and some of the videos are way lower than the others.

After the Lake Multiball, the game started another mode but no balls would load up, and then it ended the game and my initials were available to enter.

Looking forward to the updates and hopefully getting my DOF to Generate (the site is slow and not loading at the moment)

                      Thanks to everyone involved!

This table works great except for one small problem. Whenever I load it from Popper, I have to Alt-Tab to get the playfield in focus to press start. Doesnt happen when I load it from VPX directly. I changed the time in VPX Emulator Launch Setup to START “” “[STARTDIR]Launch\VPXSTARTER.exe” 30 25 60 “Visual Pinball Player” 2 and I’m still having issues. Any thoughts?

Great table! Having a bit of trouble with controller.vbs. I uncommented the b2s lines in the top of the script to activate the backglass, but I get a “Cannot Open Controller.vbs” message, which delays the start of the table loading. Once I click OK on the pop up, the table loads, along with backglass, and the DOF works for my cabinet. Any ideas what I missed?

Excellent work on this table! Noticed a strange glitch that didn’t affect gameplay. I see a thin line past the flippers, sort of like a spaced outline, from lights and the ball shadow, but most evidently on the flippers. They move when the flippers do as well. Any idea what I can change in the editor? Thanks!

                                    Hi Zeb and Teahaus,

So I redid the plunger setup, took the shell off of the slider block, put the block correctly on the potentiometer, attached the e-clip to the plunger shaft, pulled back the spring, and fit on the slider block shell. Problem I think is the shell doesn’t really have room to accommodate the e-clip. It connects but doesn’t sit flush onto the slider block. It doesn’t look like it’s gonna pop but was wondering if I did something wrong again. See pics.

Okay I realize what I did wrong with the plunger. I didn’t even realize the block had a removable shell to encase the plunger’s e-clip. But after seeing the photos clearly and your advice Zeb and Teahaus, its an easy fix! Now all I gotta do is finish work today to get home and fix it. Thanks!

                                            Zeb,

im a bit confused by your description. The pics on your site weren’t detailed and I assumed the plunger was on correctly. I pushed the plunger through the block, e-clipped it and the rubber top covers it. Can you provide an illustration or a closeup photo of what it should look like? Thanks for a great system!
