I used screws to hold my exciters to the inside of my cab.
I just finished my ssf setup last night. 7.1 AVR hooked up to my PC through HDMI of my video card. 4 exciters, 1 sub and 2 4 inch back box speakers that have skulls on them with red eyes that light up with the music.

I agree with most of what’s said here. I would never let some asshole get under my skin and stop me from doing what I love. In fact I would probably have some fun with it and harass the ones selling my work. Just a little bit ;)
Virtual pinball plays a big part in reviving interest in pinball. I know it has for me. It sucks to lose a big contributor such as Dozer and those that have left before him.
Unfortunately with virtual pinball the lines are also virtual so some people have no problem crossing them.
On a side note I’m really bummed. I never got the chance to load Dozers Mustang LE on my cab so I will never get to experience the work of art I hear it is :(

Unfortunately greed runs the world. People will do anything to make a buck including selling others hard work.
Thank you for your contributions Dozer. I can assure you all your creations that I have on my cab will remain there forĀ only me, my friends and my family to enjoy.

I have a 17 inch LCD that I use for dmd and topper under my backglass.
There is a 1280 x 390 screen that you can buy off the internet that would probably work well or there are other ultra wide monitors available if you wish to have it on top of the backglass.
Another option is to have the backglass monitor poke out the top of the backglass.

I bought a Samsung 860 EVO 500gb for my pinball PC when my hard drive died on me. It’s my first SSD and what a difference it makes in time it takes to boot, load programs, file transfers ect.. I will ever go back to the old brick.

@bigus1, I and many others appreciate your work on outdated and broken tables. Please dont get discouraged. I’m sure you have learned a lot in the past day. Just go through the proper channels and work with the creators of the tables. Continue to release your work. It’s up to you if its worth it or not but IMHO the community needs people like you.

Could very well be the cable as one side of it carry the sound for the left channel and the other for the right channel.
I’m in the process of upgrading my sound system too. I was going to get a 7.1 card for my PC but I picked up a 7.1 reciever for cheap so I’m going to try that route.

I haven’t been into virtual pinball for very long. I started over at vpforums and eventually found the other sites. I like this one the best.
I have read many old threads and it gives me a good understanding of how this scene works. I have my own opinions but they don’t matter because I dont have the skills or the time to create these masterpieces.Ā I greatly appreciate all who have put all the blood sweat and tears into making virtual pinball what it is today.
I welcome all new tables and updates to old tables but give credit where due and respect others wishes regarding their own hard work.
Coming from an outsider’s perspective and not having any history in this scene besides what I’ve read. It seems to me that Noah Fentz who I am assuming is Paul meant what he said.

July 16, 2019 at 4:47 pm in reply to: GOTW March 3-9 ā Sliderpoint's Pirates of the Caribbean #137052I’m competitive by nature but I’m also fair and honest. My tilt settings are pretty sensitive. For me it’s more about the fun of it and a reason to play more as I’m sure I’ll be towards the bottom of the leaderboard anyway. I dont think you can stop people from adjusting things to their advantage so it’s more relying on honesty.

I second Balls-A-Poppin. Love the wild balls on that one. All his tables are great though.

Hello. I have been on the site for a few months but have yet to introduce myself. I apologize for my lurking .
I started my full size virtual pinball build around the same time I joined the site and I am hooked on all things pinball now. My mame cab gets no love anymore.
