I noticed there is VR support and inside the script there is a VROn variable that never gets used. Is the latest version supposed to have some sort of VR Room? There is no real cabinet or room environment as far as I can tell.

October 18, 2020 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Star Wars:DSA(Ultimate Pro) – Epic Space Battles 1.1 – PinEvent – Now Available! #205443Looks incredible! This update will compliment nicely my current Star Wars Squadrons gaming in VR.
I changed the script in the current version to give me 10 minutes for the time attack.. hehe but have still yet to complete that mode as there is always something that ends up draining one of the balls in the final 2 ball mode before I get the shot in :)

Thanks for that. This fixed my issue with trying to get FullDMD working with the Pup DMD. Now works perfectly!

September 3, 2020 at 1:43 am in reply to: VR ROOM Indiana Jones – The Pinball Adventure (Williams 1993) #199251Hello Arvid, great job! With this table I have the problem that it is a bit too far back. Can that be corrected somehow? Other tables are perfect.
You should be able to just hit the “0” key to re-center view. This brings table into proper position (at least for me)

I love this table. I did whip up a VR version for myself using your fantastic Minimal Template so know exactly what you mean by scaling. :)
Once you release a version, I typically just overwrite mine LOL.

This table is fantastic fun! There’s something about pinball games where I have to score goals. Just very addictive.

Looks to me like you answered your own question. You don’t want to do the button job and you don’t mind paying someone else to do it.

Not necessarily if he has a game controller plugged in (that can affect the physics too).
Do a quick test, in VPX settings, disable the analog nudging option. If it still does it, and you are on VPX 10.6 final (and not on VP10.7) then for sure there is an issue to look at, can’t think of anything else that could affect the physics that way. Its just quite odd that I had similar issues but then it went away. Weird, I’ve still not tried latest version (dang real life) so maybe the newer version does this for me too
The only thing I have plugged in when playing VPX is my Keyboard and my VR headset. All other gaming devices are either off, or not even connected. FWIW, I have seen this happen a few times but I don’t call it very regular and like I said, I thought it had something to do with ball spin.

Hi,
Just a thought the ball on the flipper thing (and possibly the ball going up the outlanes), this may be due to an uncalibrated nudging board or controller plugged in. I have not tested 1.01 but for example I had an issue on version 1.00 where the ball would hit the left flipper/outlane post and would kind of act weird then would go through. I saw a few other issues as well. I shut down the cab for a while (other things to do) and when I retried, all issues were gone.
I am playing using VR (so no cab/nudge board) and I have noticed the same thing whereby the ball crawled up the flipper. I assumed it was excessive spin on the ball.

August 22, 2020 at 8:28 am in reply to: WIP: Big Trouble in Little China Original VPX + Pup Pack concept #197397Small update: I have been working on the rules and trying to fit everything into the table. What a hassle. Getting stuck all the time and rearranging it constantly. And worst of all … the self doubt. Is this fun enough? …. or … maybe not? … end so on. Looking allot at other tables, tutorials and rulesets. But it’s a lot to consume. So in the mean while going over the Pup-pack HUD and it’s coming al long. Here is a rough first version. Tying to fit the full videoframe and still reserve space for call-outs, small video’s and other graphical stuff.
This looks good to me. I am sure you know this is all part of the creative process. Sometimes you just need a break.

If you go to where you have BAM installed, right click on BAM.dll, go to “Details” tab and look at the file version. What do you see?

I can’t for the life of me get my registration email from pinball nirvana (tried 2 different emails now) and therefore can never download anything. Is this posted any where else per chance?
