Thanks for all you do Terry.

Perhaps you could move/add the note above to the Chagnelog tab vs support tab as a comment.  I’m betting there are others like me who just spend hours re-downloading everything thinking there was some new Terry Red Awesome features added to pinevent.  As I struggled with the file dates being old, I found this note that there was no need to slam the site’s limited bandwidth re-downloading 4GB of what I downloaded months ago.

re-using your stuff on commercial gear totally sucks!

Hi, The download file here and on gamex site seems to be “PinballX_Database_Manager_V20.11.25.0.zip” vs V20.12.25

I ran this installer and now seem to have all my modals reset to default and lost all the megazip and other media sites in preferences I had gathered over several months. Are these two things expected?

Any way to get the media sites restored or were they in registry and now just gone?

I went to restore from backup and the files are the same as what I had.. Game Manager date is 12/17/2020

              Thanks

Figured it out.. installer didn’t assume my directory and did a fresh install in default vs prior install.  All sorted!

BTW, overnight download from https://ftp link worked.

                Yes this is 170hc (muted).

I ended up renaming the bin and zip for this rom to 168hc and changed it in the script so I could run all the non pup tables without muted rom.

Awesome job BTW. The videos/timing with triggers are fantastic!

Any chance the puppack could be put on a google drive or Mega?  Trying to download I’m getting 130KB/sec vs 16.6MB/sec for the willy wonka pack.  8 hour ETA assuming no issues…

A slightly different approach using VPMAlias give full DOF:

                    Table Script change:

                    ‘Const cGameName = “Descendants”
                    Const cGameName = “rollstob_D”

                    VPMAlias entry:

                    rollstob_D,rollstob

                    Name the puppack folder:

                    rollstob_D

Excellent job.  Not a big IM fan but I love how you did the PUP and music selections.  pop ups look great on the full lcd dmd!

                        Thanks Scotty!

Amazing work as always.  Thanks for telling us about the AtGames partnership.. Sounds like a dream VC for the pinball community.

Everything just worked the first time.  Beautiful.

The ssf was so good I almost didn’t realize the dof profile was not uploaded yet.  nice job!

One question/validation.. I saw this in the script, but could not find the referenced batch scripts in the puppack…

dim PuPDMDDriverType: PuPDMDDriverType=0 ‘ 0=LCD DMD, 1=RealDMD (For FULLDMD use the batch scripts in the pup pack)

oh, also love the 80’s/early 90s? music and TV references blended by the amazing “house band”

Nice Pack.  Question… I notice a lot of DOF no longer matches the original table.  lots of knocker and other DOF when not expecting it.

I’m not understanding how using an alias changed DOF and I dont’ think it should.

                              Anyone notice this?

Any way to have the cool new PUP but with original DOF?

                                Thanks for the hard work.

One thing I noticed is that my 3 screen setup was only using 2 screens.  I changed the custom position for the topper to:  0,0,0,100,100

That fired up my topper with the green bat symbol and messages keyed to the game.

Well,  after a 3 week hiatus from pinball due to work projects, I was really glad to see this masterpiece completed.  Just fired it up and WOW.  Amazing Terry!

The attention to detail makes one just smile and laugh.

Thank you for your phenomenal work!

I picked up an alternate table off of vpbeta

I was not able to get the puppack to run until I reversed the puphide from zero to 1

                                    ‘**********************************************************
                                    ‘* Option HidePup for Pup’s users : 1 = yes – 0 = no *

                                      Thanks for the update @diemonik

I noticed the slingshots were using the bumper sounds and not firing SSF.  this is not the “proper” fix most likely but seems to work..

Comment out lines 162 and 184:

                                      ‘      Controller.Switch(26) = 1

                                      ‘      Controller.Switch(27) = 1

Replace lines 490 and 499 with these:

                                      Sub LeftSlingshot_Slingshot:vpmTimer.PulseSw 59:Playsound “slingshot”:End Sub ’59

                                      Sub RightSlingshot_Slingshot:vpmTimer.PulseSw 62:Playsound “slingshot”:End Sub ’62

                                          you could try something like:

                                          mklink /J “C:\vpinball” “D:\vpinball\Tables”

based on your paths that you got woz working on and where your tables are…

while that might fix it, that behavior is odd…  Mine plays fine on my E drive

Wait, what?  All vpt tables should work with VPX?  none of mine do…  my front end launches vpt 9.95… Is that not the way to go?
