Well dof generates no dof configs(configs with noisy feedback toys disabled) just make a batch file to rename the configs. Or if you want an ahk that runs when you press the button
I have a night mode button that works well with my Pinscape board. Its setup to turn off the “noisy” outputs – shaker, solenoids etc. But, lets say I wanted to have all my flashers off as well (sometimes its just too much of a ligthshow in the wee hours of the morning ), I know I can add this to the nightmode config, but say I only want to do this occasionally.. is another way to rename the configs to something else so they are not found, , or swap them out for basic configuration files which are “empty” ? Was thinking of a .bat file running to swap them ?
Just following up on this, I did indeed make a copy of the dof configuration file, and removed all the table settings. I can now run a Windows Batch file to copy this file and have no DOF at all. I can run another batch file to put the original one back. Handy for when playing late at night and I dont need strobes and flashers in my face :)

So this is just music videos in the background?? Nothing tied to gameplay of the table?

Installed this and played it last night. Great recreation! Plays like the real machine. Love it!!
I have a new playlist on my cab called “Bord” – Just added “Whirl-Wind” to it as well.. Very appreciative of the work youve done for us. thank you.

@kiwibri : I agree. Having only a real dmd, I moved a virtual one up onto the db2s. Hate to have to do that, but, I had no other options. Might consider making a flasher and put it on the apron at one point – JP style.
Hmm, that could be an option – you did the the virtual DMD on a per game basis? Not sure what the apron/JP Style one is? Do you mean another screen down in the apron area? I have a 46″ display that fills up my widebody cab really nice.. would not work and not worth changing in my case.
Btw – I changed the DmdDevice.ini to set the SEGA option = stretch, rather than = fit. Fills the DMD display a bit better now. Still hard to read some small text. The game plays so great, I want to keep playing it. When it came out in the arcades I played it a few times, but in the mid 90s there were so many other tables to play I didnt play this much.

wow, the table plays really good in my 1080p cab! thanks!
Shame the SEGA/data East DMDs are squashed on the std 128 x 32 real DMDs – I can barely read anything other than the score.. but table plays really well. Update really appreciated!

Having played a real version of this table, this version of the table, although a few years old, plays well, and stays true to the feel and look of the game.
thanks!

g5k!!? Was thinking of your work the other night when updating tables on my cab. (Been “away” for a long time so I’ve been catching up on releases. I was thinking this was a bug in the website showing this as new.
Looking forward to updating this table. Thank you!

Hi Denzel, problem solved. I used the wrong 183 color rom. With the 184 color rom work it.
1.80 was the last rom released. Not sure what you are meaning.

hmm.. Is this a bug in the table?
Bug in the Grave Marker Multi-ball?
I started the Grave Marker multi-ball and shot a ball up the grave marker lane again and the magnet locked it, soon I shot another one up there and it got magnetized, and then the 3rd ball got stuck up there. Had all 3 balls in there, then the machine started a ball search as the multiball timed out and released the balls….
I’ve never done that on a real machine, but doesn’t sound like it supposed to happen?

Seriously, thank you again!
I played with the LUTs and selected my preference. This table makes me feel so much better about selling my real Metallica Machine!

Thanks for the table!
Having owned a Real Metallica machine, I can say this table plays great. Well done!
I may look at the LUTs you provided as the colour on my screen doesnt come out as vibrant as I would like but yeah, nicely done!Worked without any changes with the 180 coloured ROM.
If there are any future “tweaks” , I’d love the option to have colour coded inserts for each Mode. With my real table I put in coloured LEDs to match the modes. I think I also changed the F U E L insert colours to either orange or purple. Can’t remember, but in any case, I think this will replace my other table(s) as the one I’ll play.
cheers

>>>Just a request<<<< So please don’t take this personal.
In the future, would it possible to download your files without being redirected to another site, and then have to login to said site for the actual download?
Thanks again to the B2S!
Is it really such a big problem for you? Wildman spent a lot of time to create such a backglass and you have a problem because you have to log into another site? Have you ever heard about such a thing like remembering login credentials in your browser? Oh come on!
Actually having ONE place to download the file from is the preference for me. That way, things like the VPS spreadsheet contains the relevant details, and a Single link to Download. Posting here allows us to know there is an update available.
By having my browser remember my credentials, its seemless for me to get the file.
@wildman, thanks for this, I’ve never seen the table this is for, so now I’m off looking for it :)You need to login in order to like this post: click here

@kiwibri : The plunger is something you might want to adjust from pin to pin. There is several different hardware solutions out there and they don’t work exactly the same so it is kind of impossible to release a table where you nail the setup for everyone. It is a easy fix though. Open table – Cntrl+Shift+E, scroll down to plunger. Make sure that options is turned on, you should be able to adjust the strength to the plungers properties. There is even a wiki page that go into more details about the plunger. https://vpinball.com/wiki/visual-pinball-knowledge-base/plunger-adjustments/
thanks, I did play with it but wasnt able to see a significant difference. I dont think it affects game play much though? not like its needed for a skill shot from what I can tell. thanks for the tips.
