I love the theme, but it is just me or does the ball feel somewhat light and floaty in this game?

In case anyone else is having the same problem I had getting the directb2s version of this pack to work properly, in order to see the setting TerryRed mentions (Bring BG Form to Top), you have to set the backglass to run in EXE mode. In the default dll mode that setting won’t be visible. Once I ran it in EXE mode and unchecked that box, everything works great.

I have a couple of problems, probably all self-inflicted :)

I enabled UltraDMD in the script, but when I launch the table it gives an error like this:

UltraDMD usefiles directory <path>\batmantas.UltraDMD does not exist. No graphic images will be displayed on the DMD.

I can click  OK to let the table continue to load, which it does. I can see the Pup Pack backglass while that happens, but then it pops up the b2s backglass from my Data East Batman table! Filename for this game is BatmanTAS.vpx, filename for the data east one is Batman (Data East 1991).vpx, so they don’t match although the first 6 characters are identical.

Thanks for your solution to this, kds70 – worked great on my cab.

Thanks! I’ll give that a go when I get home later today.

I would like to “3rd” this request for a simple score only option for Pin2DMD or other real DMDs. Some of the graphics/video/animations are replicated OK in the low resolution of a DMD, but the words are nearly impossible to read.

I made a small solution / text resizing for my pin2dmd. Maybe Scott will intregrate it in his way …

Btw it´s not sooo bright as it looks in the picture.

Can you share how you did that? That would be a nice option to have!

I have the same issue – the videos work on the Pin2DMD but look terrible because of the low resolution and limited color depth. It’d be nice if this table had an option like the stranger things one where you can just have it show a simple score and any text messages on the DMD. I can see that some text sometimes appears over the videos in the pin2dmd but I can’t read it.

If I disable the Pin2DMD in the script and just let it put those videos on my backglass screen they look fine, but I don’t have the real estate for them there – just 1 playfield screen, 1 backglass, and  the pin2dmd in my setup.

Anyone having problems with 0.51 not sending or retrieving scores from orbitalpin? I haven’t tried any of the prior versions. I signed up on Orbitalpin and configured the script with my username, api key, and initials but after a game all of the scores just show as 0 with no names.

Thanks to Scottywic for all of his amazing work on this table though, it plays beautifully.

FYI I figured out my problem here, in case anyone else has a similar one. I use a PiHole on my network to block ads via DNS, and it was blocking the domain that Orbital scoreboard uses to communicate for some reason, so I had to whitelist hook.integromat.com, then everything started to work right away.

                      Is orbital pin required?

Nope, not if you don’t care about online leaderboards.

Same problem for me – no F1 menu since it doesn’t run vpinmame, so I don’t know how to get the DMD stuff to output to my pin2dmd.

Try using the Night->Day slider in Options>User Customization in Visual Pinball.

Oh, I was basing that on the edit to the first post in this thread saying ‘reissued’.

Thanks for re-releasing without the music, although the download link still 404s for now. Looking forward to trying this one out when it is back up.
