You know what, I really like Jodie Whittaker as the doctor. Unfortunately her shows suffer from bad writers and worse, terrible and way too many ‘companions’ that take away from what could have been decent episodes ideas.

You know, I can actually agree with you on this. She’s not necessarily a bad Doctor, it’s that the writing is no longer fun.
Sometimes a TV show can actually be for pure entertainment value and nothing more. Unfortunately, they seem to have veered into making Dr. Who all about politics and pushing an agenda. Not that I disagree with what the agenda is, I just don’t want it in my Dr. Who; I watch Dr. Who for pure entertainment, I watch the news for the latest in politics and human interest stories.
*sigh*….and the ‘Christmas’ specials are no more; not that I’m religious either heh.

WHAT!!! No Jodie Whittaker!? My favorite Doctor is missing!?
……………..quickly ducking to avoid thrown objects.
Thanks, great update for this table! Just kidding above, by the way hehe; David Tennant is by far my favorite ‘new’ Doctor.

Thanks! It’s great to see tables that are a bit more obscure, to me anyways. Definitely something I’ve never seen in the wild. Although I’m a desktop mode player for now, these tables are still great fun!

Oh man, not to reveal TOO much about my age, but my friend’s mom owned a bar back in the 70’s. When we were kids, we would run rampant in there in the pre-opening hours…….and we always had the keys for the pinball machines! Ah, the memories! Thanks for this!

Thank you so much for this! I’ve been waiting for this table to make an appearance on VPX…and here it is!
I’m so sad that I missed your AFM table, but I didn’t miss out on this one
Looks incredible and plays the same.
Right now I’m feeling a bit bad for RandR’s server bandwidth hehe, I can only imagine that everyone will be grabbing this table immediately. So, a big thanks to RandR as well!

Thank you so much for this. I can’t believe how incredible the detail is, nor can I believe how realistic everything looks. I’m playing this in desktop mode on a 1080p TV; I can’t even begin to fathom what it looks like in 4K on a real pin-cab!

Looks and plays great! Thank you so much for this.
There’s just something about these late 80’s and early 90’s tables that really appeals to me.

Holy cow, that card likes the power, 375 watt max TDP! But I don’t think a 750 watt power supply would be a problem for running it in your system, you should have enough juice.
If you are power conscious or would like to keep the heat down, I would suggest a newer architecture card. If power and heat are no problem, it should be just about as fast as my GTX 1050 Ti, which I run in desktop mode at 1080p on my TV with all settings maxed out. With V-Sync off, I can get around 175fps on most tables.

Fun table, really great lighting…..and everything else.
At first I thought I was losing my mind, but nope, that is the sound of the pinball hitting the glass; really nice touch!
Thank you for this one.

Thank you for this phenomenal table. I never cease to be amazed at what the VPX engine is capable of, and here you come ramping that up even further. The work on this table is nothing short of, well, just plain unbelievable; I’m speechless!

@thalamus: Thank you very much!
Desktop user here, no issues at all.
I installed all components one at a time without the all-in-one installer a lot of people are using.
VPinballx5 minimal, then upgraded to 10.6 beta. VPinmame 3.2 beta, registered the COM objects and tested. Unzipped scripts to the proper folders, added my samples and Bally nvram stuff then installed standard UltraDMD via msi from here: https://ultradmd.wordpress.com/documentation/
I then followed the instructions for file placement on the included instructions and bypassed everything about xdmd; it appears to be working from the UltraDMD msi install referenced above.
The only glitch I noticed is that if the ball goes into the chute on the right (labeled photo hunt, army ghost, bar ghost, spirit guide) and if you touch nothing, it will perpetually bounce off your flipper on ejection and go right back into the chute.
System specs if it matters: Windows 10 Pro (Free OEM Dell box from work, we have a company that comes out and on-site shreds hundreds to thousands a year from corporate acquisitions) 16GB RAM, Core 15, GeForce GTX 1050Ti. I had to pay for the extra RAM and GeForce card
EDIT: I don’t have db2s installed.

Oh, so very cruel *sigh*. I got into the VPX/PinMAME stuff just a wee bit too late to catch that one before it was gone.
I have The Pinball Arcade version of the table, but after their last update, it is a stuttering, slow, unplayable mess on my main PC. All of the other tables are full speed with all of the details turned up, just not that one; Core i5, GTX 1050ti, 16GB RAM, SSD.
Fortunately, all of the VPX tables I have play perfectly at 1080p on my living room TV with the details cranked all the way up.
I’m still amazed at how great the community is and how we have something for free that is light years ahead of a commercial project that people pay money for, thanks guys!
……..sorry, off topic for a bit there.

This table is incredible, thank you very much for the hard work! I don’t know a better way to describe how this table plays, except for “crisp”, if that makes sense. The graphics and lighting are phenomenal and the game-play is very fast and fun.

Thanks for the link! I’ll have to scale it down to maybe a 27″ play-field, but it should be fairly straightforward. Jeez, like randr said, there isn’t really that much to it.
I see a couple of Harbor Freight hand tools in my future and several 30 minute trips to my friend’s shop over a few weeks, as time permits. I really wish his CNC’s wouldn’t get destroyed by sawdust and wood chips; a little modeling in Solidworks and some G-code…voila….*sigh*.
