Hey I wonder if anyone has a fix, I noticed that something is causing a contactor to stay engaged on this table.

Hey naeromagus, you might want to check lines 644 & 655 (674 & 685 if using the Thalamus script) in the script to see if there is a DOF Off command.

There wasn’t in mine, nor the updated script from Thalamus git repository. I’ve added the commands in mine  so my flipper solenoids now turn off.

Hey I wonder if anyone has a fix, I noticed that something is causing a contactor to stay engaged on this table. I can hear the PS fan kept on until table exit. I tried using an updated script from Thalamus git repository. No luck. @kds70, @thalamus. Thanks guys

I guessed it was probably a contactor related to the spinning disc on Fireball, so I just checked it on my machine but got quite a surprise – both flipper contactors stay activated once they have been pressed. The chimes and slingshot contactors are fine.

I’m pretty sure this didn’t happen before I updated my DOF config files just last week. Fortunately I’ve got continuous duty solenoids for my flippers, so they won’t burn out, but others might not be so lucky.

So like naeromagus said – does anyone have a fix?

Can’t play. Says error on line 12084

                    amy clue what this is

Orbital Scoreboard. So either set up an OSB account and install the vbs file in your scripts folder, or just disable it in line 51 of the script.

Well there’s a topic to grab people’s attention!

                      Happy birthday randr – 50….crikey!

I went past that a few years ago now – don’t worry, it’s not that bad.

Really really like this one. Thank you. One small thing I noticed and it might be my setup but there is a slight ball rolling noise that never seems to go away. Even after draining. Any ideas?

Yeah, I’ve noticed that ball rolling sound as well. It’s faint, but it’s there all the time.

                        Not a problem, just weird.

Oh man, you’ve got me out of bed two days in a row!

I’ve been really looking forward to this release after following the build videos.

I’m sure it is absolute perfection. Thanks again Bord.

Loving this table – can’t stop playing it!

I imagine it would have been a bit of a goldmine for an operator back in the day. There’s no way you’d be able to resist chucking a bunch of coins in if you came across it with only 1 or 2 cities left to get before hearing those three lovely cracks.

I’ve managed a couple of 1100+ games so far, but I think that high score might be beyond me.,……..for now!

Cool! as a sidebar note – you brought notice to Y-town, and had a new poster named Crakkers suddenly chime in. Hmmm…

Yeah, I came in looking for the answer to the question posed in the thread title and couldn’t resist following the clues, which lead me to learn a little bit of the interestingly chequered history of a place I would not have otherwise heard about.

By the way, my research lead me to “Old Jenny”, a version of ” Whiffle” being the first coin-op pin,. It was made by Yohio Mfg, also from Youngstown  and formed by the same people from Automatic Industries. Guess I was close, but no cigar.

Look forward to seeing Bunnyboard when it’s released.

                                        Cheers.

Home of Al Bundy, the first coin operated pinball game, Jim Trafficant, The Youngstown Tune up and yours truly.

I’ve learned something today. Sounds like a weird town……..I like it!

Jimbo sounded like an interesting character….. and yeah, brilliant wig! As for the Youngstown Tune-up – I don’t think I’d want any of those ‘mechanics’ working on my cars, but it’s a great phrase.

Still haven’t nailed which pinball game you’re taking about, but I’ve got a shortlist – breaking the rules of course by searching various websites.

Edit: I need to learn to look before I leap…….or learn how to type faster!
