Is any table safe from this guy?  The best one was when he “claimed” to have updated Knorr’s Star Trek TNG which was already perfect!  Unbelievable!  I refuse to download anything with the “_Bigus” suffix.

Can’t wait for these updates Bord, absolutely love your work.  Can’t wait to see what marvels you’ll conjure up in VPE, which in itself looks amazing.

Thanks to all involved in these amazing projects and table builds.

How do you build a table in blender before VPX?

              @armyaviation
Take a look at Bord’s excellent seawitch build WIP, amazing!

Same plunger problem here. The keymapping can’t be the problem because i can trigger the plunging sound. Turning on Auto plunger launches the ball but in an unusual way. At least you can put the ball in play that way.

Had the same issue with one of JP’s latest releases but no help from the VPF guys.

I saw you mentioning that, out of curiosity. How does Mike’ release of this table work for you ? https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/black-belt-bally-1986-v1-0-sp/

Sorry, Matt and Tom for polluting your thread a bit here.

Yeah, I have the same problem on Black Belt also.  Escape from the Lost World just makes the plunger sound and then failure to launch, Houston.

Honestly I’m not very technical in VPX. I’d assume the encoder inputs are mapping to keys and there must be someway to see what keys they’re mapped too. This table was the first to do away with the internal keypad so a lot of the numbers keys are utilized by the ROM. If that’s the case might not be a lot you can do aside from change inputs. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than we knows more though.

Ok, thanks @mlager8, appreciate the reply.

Think plunger should be mapped to enter key. That solved it jgnzl1

Thanks for the reply, but I’m using a USB encoder for my cab and the inputs all numbered 1-10 etc.  I don’t think I can change that and I don’t have this issue with any other table and I have 400+ installed.

Quick question- the ball doesn’t launch when I use the plunger button (and the plunger doesn’t move), but I do hear the sound effect. I haven’t had this happen on any other tables…is there something I’m missing? Thanks for all of the hard work- it looks awesome!

Ooh haven’t ran into that issue. None of the testers reported that problem and I have a launch button and plunger on my cab which are both working. Did you change any table options and maybe add something accidentally?

Is your launch key bound to a different button that usual?

Try a fresh install of the table and if you’re still having trouble PM me.

Wow you guys are incredible. To see all that went it to making this release a Primo example of what can be done with some time. And Much talents. Thank You!

Same issue, redownloaded the table, tried the default nvram file for the rom.   Have the plunger mapped to button 10.  No issues with any other tables.  Is there a fix?

                      Fantastic looking table!  Thanks all.

I just hope this doesn’t slow down your other monster project??

Not really. I’m pretty much done with MB (for now). At the moment it’s just waiting for a new mesh playfield from @bord and that’ll probably happen some time next week. After that it will go to @rothbauerw‘s physics and code factory to really get a new life.

looking forward to this, your mods are fantastic.  Have you also got a Monster Bash update in the works?  Really looking forward to that if the case!

@mikedaspike This is a great app, makes media management so much easier. Would it be possible to add a feature to filter by machine type, either em or ss etc in a future release? I like to add the manufacturer logo to my dmd on EM machines to fill the empty space. Thanks again for this great utility.

@ashleyb Starting from release 1.5, we implemented an advanced search option. Now you can search specifically on every field. Even for blanks.

We hope you like this feature

Thanks Mike, really great app.  Use it all of the time now.  Upgraded the dmd media on a bunch of my tables with version 1.5 just this afternoon.

That’s interesting… I’m not seeing any issues like that. Did you try to restart VPX? Is it happening with V1.0.1?

Anyone else having sound issues with V1.1.0?

Thanks agentEighty6,  was a corrupt rom, downloaded again and working.  Not a table I’ve played much previously so never noticed the problem before.  Thanks again, looks like a nice table with the updates.

This is great!  Only issue I have is I only have mechanical table sounds, should there be music, call outs etc?  On the latest sambuild and vpx 10.6.
