I’m not the greatest expert but i have never seen an autoplunger for this table! Can you tell me what problems you have with the plunger? Multiball starts from the three kickers on the UPF!

This is all i could find!
There is a low res PF scan from a PF protector decal that should help with the correct layout! You still need good PF images!
Hope this helps!

Great stuff! But i always have the problem that you can see the insert image through the PF when IL’s are off. I couldn’t get this to work properly so i decided to put a bezel over the non lit part. Pass Through didn’t hide the insert image. If i do the same as you the darkened parts would be visible inside the light shape. It’s not much but looks like it’s 80% PF image and 20% insert image. Does this not happen on your table? Just curious! Maybe i am doing something wrong!

@TGX
Have you checked the preview image here in this thread on a newer smartphone? I went back to my cab and the white’ish reflections are showing alot more on the mediocre PF monitor compared to my phone or my PC gaming monitor. Have you tried to reduce the brightness with a different LUT filter? You can also try to reduce the brightness by moving the day / night slider!

It looks like you’re missing the ‘Project from view’ UV map on the wood prim!?
Make the camera that you used for the wood render active and hit numpad ‘0’ for the camera view in the viewport. Select the wood prim and go in ‘Edit’ mode. Hit ‘A’ to select all. Hit ‘Project from view’ in the UV-Edit (I’m not at the PC at the moment), exit edit mode and export the wood prim. Import it to VPX and use the wood render as your texture image.
Was that what you were asking for?

And for the playfield_off mesh you would need no holes at all! VPX only renders reflections onto the PF not on the playfield_off. But who am i telling this!Â
If you render the PF off image with the mesh that you have set up for no reflections on cut outs and reflections on the inserts you should be good.

Not a real table but you could talk to Sindbad and see what happens:

Great job doing the videos!
How about using a Plane with perspective UV and a render image from the Boolean PF with transparent holes? Should save some polys. I always tried to lower the polycount by unstretching the render result back to PF size in Krita so i can use a simple VPX wall for the GI-OFF PF. I won’t do that again! It’s just a pain! But using the plane might work. At least on the S34 / Herweh tables.

Was the material set to active when you tried 0.999?

Make sure you have static rendering unchecked!

Ahh! Now i got it! Sorry! Leave the material active and set opacity to 0.9999. This will show the lights as seen in the 2nd image and allow for changes in the script! Try to set your depth bias to -100 or even lower if you want to see the bumpers through the transparent parts!

Try to set the Materials to active with Opacity at 1. You can also set the Depth Bias to something like -600 or higher until lights turn off on the object. I’m not sure if there is a certain DB value where the lights turn off on the object but they do when the DB is low enough!
A non active material will not be rerenderd while the table is running. I don’t bellieve that you can set them active via the script.

And the dotted look is a rendering pain! Blender and VPX. Maybe even worse when things are moving in VR.

I have a 27″ bartop cab. Your PC is 4k ready! All i can say is that if you start to dive deeper into VP, all you want for christmas is a 43″ 4k fullsize cab. Try to build a low cost BT cab (monitors from ebay) and see if you like it.
If you want to spend a little more try to get a 21:9 monitor for the playfield. It’s closer to the ~20:9 ratio of a real pincab and gives you some extra space for the modern tables with high toys/ramps. There is a WIP out there for a 21:9 cab. Can’t remember who did it. Looks really cool!
Keep in mind that without the legs you can’t use a nudge sensor. You need 3 buttons on each side for flipper, magna save and nudge!
