 i see… so …. we need to redo all the snipit one by one…. arghhh what a pain… thank you for you help @Outhere

for example, one case that i was working on Galaxy (stern) Back glasses to move the scores on the DMD. il already ‘cleaned’ the picture and do a crude DMD , but i was puzzled on how to move score/snipit to/from …

I know this is not the 100% same caseĀ  as Space train, and it’s not 100% accurate to the original pinball (for this case) but i think it’s better (imho) on a 3 screens configs.

        original galaxy : Galaxy-backglassON

my mod : Galaxy-backglass2ON and the linked DMD : DMD_galaxy2

i want to let some snipit ont the backglass (like ‘Game overs’ , Tilt…) and move all the Scores/ credits / ball in play ton the DMD…

perhaps, il will adapt the DMD to use and match Frezzy excellent Alphanumerical Display DLL instead of using backglasses internal scoring leds…

EDIT : it seem that there is a version 1.26 of backglass manager floating around but i can only found the v1.2

          HHH perfect @outhere !! i try to do that since 2 weeks…

How do you moved the informations and all the illumination snipit for the DMD from the backglass-grill to the third screen ? do you redo all snipit one by one or can you share your method (perhaps do you have a special -find and replace’ script ) ?

i have numerous backglass like this one with a ‘graphic’ DMD included in the grill that i want to modify for a proper ‘3 screens’ release (moving the DMD part from the grill to the third screen virtual DMD)

but it’s a infernal work to redo all the illuminations… or did i miss something ?

            ThankĀ“s

I am making an LMEMDOFTables.txt with 2 the file in user. Now b2s is running.

Yep… confirmed… the b2s is working if you use the value ‘2’ and not ‘3’ as recommanded earlier… don’t know why

Hello… thanks for this table (v1.2) . it seems that the autoplunger (during multiball) didn’t work (if there is any code for it)

thank you for this new version. can ask advices how to ‘pump up’ a bit the color of this v3 version ? …Ā  the graphics of the v2 version are a bit less ‘washed’. it seem like the table is ‘older’ (like a real table of one year vs one of 5 years in the light)…

By the way, i don’t know if you changed something, but the score saving of the v3 version work like a charm vs the v2 version where i got crash each time i get a highscore… thanks a lot for your hard work

awesome job but the physics are really off? i can barely make the main ramp shot, the flippers feel really weak, playing it in my cab and pushing the buttons with full force the ball feels too heavy and slow, anybody with the same ā€œproblemā€? maybe the real table is like that, im using the latest vpx with the latest vpinmame

Looks fantastic but is too hard for my taste

yep… same for me… i imported the whole physic from the last bigus mod based on the last jpsalas based on the last unclewilly before this one :P

Hereā€™s a script update, adjusted soundfx to use dofflipppers for flippers, dofdroptargets for targets, UseSolenoids=2 for fastflips https://pastebin.com/YM0yfBBz

                        @Goldchicco
you didn’t add the script mod fron @arngrim in your 1.21 version for proper dof ? (even the UseSolenoids=2 for fastflip )

there is problems with the flippers : they still works even when you lost all your balls (end of play)

and the DOF of the flippers are still working when the flippers are deactivated between balls (when you lose a ball , you cant move the flippers but the solenoids still works)

Is anyone else having issues with DOF, particularly the rear bumpers? My solenoids do not engage. Only way to get the bumpers to work, is turning on SSF. I also had to turn the shaker way down as itā€™s nearly on through out the entire 3 ball game. Other than that, table plays beautifully. Very addictive game!

Edit. Just seen the fix a few posts above. Iā€™ll try it and report back.

it didn’t work… nor the bumpers, nor the slingshot DOF are working

for me.. (glass turn on option) i need to set the depth bias of the bridge to zero (instead of the recommended 300) else the part of the bumper that is under the bridge didn’t ligh up

…. I believe you have to run one of the newer releases in order to play them all. The older ā€œformatā€, seems to have left the download area.

                                – newer is at the moment (june 2020) the pinsound studio v18.8.3 … anythink newer than that didn’t work anymore with visual pinball…
this version is the minimum-maximum-needed version

no you cant… altsound directory and mode 1 use an older and obsoleteĀ  sound pack encoding …. you need the 18.8.3 to use the sound package that you can found on pinsound.org and probably anywhere else…

the mode 1/altsound is here for history purpose but no one at the moment use it…

                                          also

you probably forgot to link the package to the rom in pinsound studio.optne pinsoudtudio ,Ā  option 2, Select and install new zip sound package,Ā  browse to the sound package you want, wait a while until aĀ  green mark is near the browse button

then click on second tab to the right (Visual pinball)

click ont he pakage you download in the box to the right , and under the windows, enter the EXACT name of the rom that the table use (example cv_20h for cirqus voltaire) and that you want to link to the new sound package, click on save.

                                          now let pinsoundstudio open

and run your table , them set vpinmame sound mode to 2 (click F1 when running the table, change sound mode to 2 , click OK, then quit and launch againt the table )

Now your table will use the new sounds.

dont forget that pinsoundstudio need to run in the background

the only good working version of pinsoundstudio that can use the sound package that you can found on pinsound.org or pinsound-community.org and that is working with vpinmame/VPX is the 18.8.3.

Upper version didn’t work anymore with VPX, lower versionĀ  (like 0.3 or 0.8 that you can now found on the site) use another obsolete version of the sound package.
